did marvel stop printing after infinity gauntlet? as long as these films continue to make money the stories will continue. after about a decade of origin stories, reboots and new adaptations like silver surfer are likely and who knows if fox will join the fray by then. the last genre of film people should worry about drying up are films w/ countless stories and interpretations...and wayans bros parodies.

Rdj is not who you should be referencing aside from the vanity project that was ironman 3 most of his physical actions are cgi'd in a suit. He doesn't need to be spry to make quips and do his 1 liners. The only way they get rid of him is over pay

that's only worked for batman for obvious reasons but it's not a guaranteed formula that any of these companies should readily do. Do we need to cite Spiderman, FF might do worse than its predecessor and if I am not mistaken ang Lee's hulk did better than Eddie Norton's so I can easily see marvel fans not buying into the new recasts

Milking the comic book fad dry until fans get tired and move on to video game movies after "Infinity wars pt 2: return of the cash flow" leaving DC like

well first off there's spiderman, which could end up being a saga in and of itself. not only that but that opens up a huge pocket of the marvel universe that has yet to be explored in the movies. so much room for crossovers and new characters. they are also bringing up doctor strange, black panther, captain marvel and the inhumans from the bullpen. for all we know those go onto become huge properties as well.

i would not be surprised if they try and build towards an arc based on secret wars.

what if x-men the return of ivan ooze is a huge bomb? what if FANTASTIC FOUR is a huge bomb? whose to say fox won't one day sign up for that marvel stimulus package?

Back in the day The Avengers weren't very popular at all. They were above teams like Alpha Flight and X-Caliber but nowhere near the level of the X-Men.

I don't remember any kids actively seeking out Avengers comics. It was always X-Men and it's affiliated titles. Especially in the 80's and 90's.
