My guess is they are banking on The Inhumans and Dr. Strange to create another big crossover saga.

If that doesn't work, probably a soft reboot so they can build for another big crossover saga down the line.

If they somehow get the X-Men and/or FF back by 2020 then it's a whole different story.

They're comic book movies...why do they need an end game?

I would like to see them take the major step of killing off major characters. It would be cool to see a franchise like that kill off Steve Rogers rather than have him "pass the torch" to another character/actor.

if they were smart, they'd push more TV/Cable/Direct series for lesser known properties and do movies for crossover "events".

Like, they could EASILY be doing Runaways/Young Averngers/NYX/New Mutants right now.

they are doing "The Defenders" for netflix....:comeon: Marvel doesnt own the "mutants" anymore... Anything and all things concerning mutant lands at 20th century Fox, thery not giving back the xmen rights...

avengers not even the hottest marvel IP :camby: DC better not fukk this little momentum hey have

While THAT little fact maybe true in reality... Marvel doesnt have the xmen movie rights... So they work with what they had and it was still a success... compared to the xmen movies the avengers and solo ones have been way better than the xmen... How do you have the rights to xmen and the fights be corny!?!?! Straight garbage...

First Class & DOFP was a great xmen movie but they slacking. I mean look at the Tonal shift from the first captain america movie to the winter soldier... :whoo::gladbron:

They gotta come correct with this xmen apocalypse movie... they slacking..

spider man and green goblin will meet there ambiguous end under neath some rubble after green goblin tries to poison the entire state of NY with goblin gas, only to be stopped by parker and Doc Ock will take over as a mechanized Spider-Man.

There's your endgame. :troll:
