DOFP was cool. first class was awesome but as always the xmen franchise looses momentum around the 3rd one... I'm in a wait and see moment. im just saying Fox and the Xmen creators better step their game up...

thing is in a comic you can keep drawing, these actors are getting old. a comic you can run for 60+ years, how you gonna have RDJ playing ironman for another 10 years?

They've already said that they'll recast actors like James Bond and handle the continuity the same way. The Incredible Hulk is a good example of what will happen.

You gotta give them props. Combined with the movies on the roadmap that have came out already, milking or not this is mad ambitious. Who been doing shyt like this? And the shyts good too. Clap for em.

Anyway hopefully some bodies get dropped in the first infinity war flick (Cap and Iron Man?) for where they can be replaced in the second with the additions of captain marvel and black panther. The second film could be partly about reorganizing the team with new members after taking an L to thanos

after xmen and avengers movie money dries up, xmen will still be a better property. marvels only pushing avengers in film obviously and in print is because they own the rights to the films

Why is there a need for an endgame? Did Marvel stop making comics and are there no more stories to tell?

they're not making Spiderman. Sony still is, but Marvel is producing and is getting no money from it. Same with MCU characters potentially in Spidey films.

Dunno why Fox can't do the same, but maybe they'll surprise us.

Comics are pretty niche these days but it's interesting that X-Men titles were still outselling most Avenger titles before Disney got pissed and started removing X-Men titles form the shelves. That shows me that X-Men behind Disney's marketing machine would have been bigger than The Avengers. I mean lets be serious. We all around the same age. Yeah, nikkas would read Hulk, I'm not gonna lie. Maybe the odd Cap title here or there. But for the most part on the Marvel side it was all Spider-Man and X-Men books.

Why you think those are the properties they sold to begin with? Cause they were worth the most.

After infinity war I expect them to soft reboot some of the core movies with different actors in the iron man & Cap roles. I expect them to go deeper with the magical series. I also expect them to have made a strong push to get some of their core characters back (if FF Bombs that will be the one the get back) and to try to add them to the marvel universe as a whole. So more Cosmic stuff

I really doubt this superhero wave lasts 5 more years. Marvel is smart tho because people are naturally completionists and will want to see the big movies just because they've invested so much time in the prior ones.

X-Men titles really weren't selling more. You need to go look at the sales chart before Secret Wars for the Avengers group and solo books and the XMen group and solo books
