He was the worst offender because breh said he could make mill saying nothing on the beat all while saying "this is why I'm hot". While "Laffy Taffy" blew up off a simple sound, MIMS pretty much blatantly mocked artistry and showed you could not only have a #1 single saying nothing, you could be the "hot" artist while doing it. Only good thing that came out of that song is it inspiring Jay to make American Gangster.

one of my favorite bar fights as a bouncer happened While that song played so I have a soft spot for it.
Some dude in VIP threw a drink on one of the beer tub girls because she wouldn’t take his number.
An all out melee broke out it was almost like you could feel the tension in the air that brothers needed to work some shyt out and that was the spark
It felt like the 15 or so bouncers we had on staff vs the entire city of Minneapolis that night.
shyt was fun as hell as terrible as it is to admit, I’ve never had to hit that many muthafukkas in one day in my life
Right before everyone video’d damn near everything, man oh man we handed out some glorious ass whoopings to that 3 Note tune that night
Best part. The DJ played the damn song 3x in a row for some reason. Needed some ice packs and Advil for sure that next morning

You guys must have went to some wack clubs because that song is/was trash.
Also this thread should be bushed, because it just stupid.
This song was low quality on all ends, but it still got pushed heavy. BET's credibility was completely over after that, which is the only positive out of this.

Not saying he was on the track. He didnt like it off rip. He was locked down. They pushed that song out. By the time he got out, it was hot. So he rode the wave. Ya have to know that he had the label and had been putting out lil songs here and there. The song blew so he went hard with his label thing. Is what I was implying.
