Doechii's album "ABNH" was what Hip Hop heads were waiting for but it went under the radar so now you can't complain about Sexyy Red and Ice Spice.

I like Doechii but this album wasnt all that. She can rap, she's a good songwriter but she kind of just reminds me of Tierra Whack.

Acting like she's a lyricist or talking about anything worth hearing on any deeper level is silly. This isnt a knock @ her but OP

If this is how you really feel then, like the thread title says, you can't complain about Ice Spice and Sexyy Red getting the spotlight that they get. :ehh:

Kendrick is the perfect artist of his generation to be a leader.
He’s introspective, unafraid to challenges himself to develop as an individual and channel that into his art.
He’s in touch with the poetic and rebellious nature of the early Hiphop origins.

I know it’s early, but Doechii is giving me that same impression as somebody that can be that for her generation.

Andrew Schultz is another example of a monster that WE created and could not have had the power he did otherwise.

Kendrick drawing the line is very good.
Not just for doing so, but also coming from his POSITION as a cultural leader, it’s a significant layer to me.
Doechii is INSANELY talented to me.

She’s actually well-read and has a lotta interesting perspectives and things to say that will push the HipHop genre in the right direction.

Definitely my #1 draft pick for female rappers, and I love that she’s Darkskin and uses unapologetically African hairstyles in her aesthetic as a representation of darkskin Black ppl.

Called it, full circle moment :wow::wow::wow:
I LOVE this for Doechii, what an incredible talent :blessed:
I’m happy darkskin little girls have her as someone to look up to :salute:

She raps about the same stuff the other girls rap about. People just think she’s different because she presents it in a different way lol. Rap fans are hilarious. Folks doing everything in their power to let us know that they like Glorilla and them more. I get it but this girl is doing ok too and she’s on what people call the hottest label in the game. Shes going to have her time and then face away like all these rappers do. I say let her have her moment.
:mjlol: no she doesn't. When have you heard Nikki rap about doing home chores
