What happened to Rock is slowly happening to Rap. You are seeing the beginning of Rap no longer being the dominant genre in music

Not true also. JuiceWrld and XXX were doing numbers as well. And their fanbase had a wider demographic. Even emo cacs were loving these brehs
WACK nikka. Only internet nikkas think they was about to shake sum. (Besides maybe pop smoke)

Better to reign in Hell than serve in Heaven
Dude calm down. :pachaha:

Modern music has catchy beats/hooks and you can shake ya a$$ to it. I doubt people really care what those rambling words are. Im glad modern rap is generating billions of dollars and the party crowd loves it.. I, and many others still believe its trash.

Enjoy that sh*t breh.
I also believe it’s trash. But I’ll say again. Reports of raps lack of dominance have been greatly exaggerated in this thread

I don’t follow or know how sales are calculated with all this streaming today

But Rap music is over saturated with trash

Problem is not only do u have 100,000 New York rappers, 100,000 Cali Rappers, but u have 90,000 rappers in Atlanta, and thousands and thousands in each in every state in America and 90% of them are making the same shyt nikkas in other states are making.. u got Chicago with drill and then here comes Jacksonville Florida, then New York with drill and u have future and lil baby with the autotune and then here comes a motherfukker from North Carolina or Iowa with autotune

And every female is talking about the same p*ssy is poppin and bootyhole is brown

No one is creative that will push their music on a Tupac or Snoop type level of worldwide love

Last rapper to emerge and really catch my interest was Schoolboy Q, been almost a decade so:yeshrug:I always check for Nas and anything Madlib, Alchemist, DJ Premier produced. This current stuff ain't for me and I am a 90s baby. What the hell am I supposed to get out of listening to Jack Harlow, Ice Spice, Lil x5475 etc:beli:Listening to Jazz mostly with some Techno, Soul, Funk, RnB and classical:myman:
