I miss those old red subway 2 and 5 trains that were mad grimey. NYC is different now but also NYC I guess evolves with since I was a kid in the 90's and a teenager in early 2000's and perspectives change. I've never had any problems in BK when staying with my pops.

I miss the old nyc but at the same time i dont. I think its because i dont mind it being better but i dont like how it became better.

Its these fukking hipsters from bubblefukkville wisconsin making everything trendy and takin away the real soul from nyc. All these weird restaurants, festivals etc its just weird certain places now. Its still the city but at the same time its not. NYC people know what im saying if this doesnt make sense to some lol.

Getting off at franklin and seeing a bunch of cacs im like :merchant:

Rather than go into broad generalizations I'll bring up a specific memory. Long dead weed spot on 125th street. It was like in 94. They used to sell incense there, but like every weed spot they had bulletproof windows at the counter. I remember one day buying a bag there and there was this long ass line man...and it had all kinds of people, business professionals, nurses, parents...and they all on this line at a store buying bags of weed. Same way you be on a line at a supermarket. All orderly and everything felt legal man. For some reason I knew that was an ill moment I should never forget. I never did.
