Because Boston was never a viable option for his son in the first place. Let's keep it a buck.
Which has been made by these comments..

The Celtics (because of their location) never get Superstar free agents. All Stars (horford, hayward, etc.), but Superstars like Durant might give them a courtesy listen at best.
Most places in the NBA don't superstar free agents as There's not that many of those guys to begin with... It's still the organizations job to put forth the effort to aquire said players

You don't let severely injured players step on your court... Your job as a GM is to protect your assets not exploit them.... Obviously you and Ainge feel definitely on this topic and the players around the Leauge have taken note :ehh:

All that other juelzing rationalizing blaming the player for your own sleezy actions shyt you can save for the birds tbh.... My opinion on this doesn't even matter at the end of the day broadie... It's the players who your team covets feeling the same way I do that you should be concerned about...period :hubie:

IT was looking for $200 Milly and was going to be a free agent breh. They were talking to him about 3 years, $100 million and he was talking about max and the brinks truck.

If they didn’t trade him for Kyrie, but chose not to pay him and let him walk, guess what, he’d still have a fukked up hip, he’d still be on a on year deal in Denver. Would that make the Celtics “loyal”? It seems like the only way people would think they were loyal is if they maxed his ass regardless or if they forced him off the floor, even though he wanted to play to help his max case.

If he doesn’t want to play for the Celtics in their current iteration, then in the grand scheme whatever happened with Isaiah means nothing. He wasn’t going to come here regardless. He wants to be a Laker and that’s his prerogative
Obviously the people in AD's camp say otherwise .... But hey.... Whatever you need to tell yourself to help you live with that sleazy piece of management your GM put on display for the basketball world my Caucasian brother.... Good luck to you fellas moving forward :hubie:

Dawwwg Dawwwg stooooop.... You're trying to convince the wrong person to buy Into your sleazy management moves that we all know debilitated a players career....

I'm not the one you need to change the mind of tho at the end of the day... Its The PLAYERS who you want that feel the same way and it's apparently going to cost you in acquiring AD... The juelzing is only you talking to yourself at this point

Help myself with what? Were the optics bad on the trade because of what IT was going through? Yep. Was it a bad trade for the team? Absolutely not, and anybody who argues otherwise is probably mentally retarded.

And far as Ainge goes, if you think I'm one of his apologists then you need to do your googles :skip:

No it was not a good trade. If you didn't ruin IT's back, and kept him....you would have had a very good chance at beating bron and going to the finals

Look at kyrie's contributions:
First year injured
Second year will lose out to raps and bucks
Then bounces to NY

They would've beat Bron regardless if just one of Brown & Rozier didn't have the worst game of their careers

We don't know what would've happened if IT didn't get hurt. He might have been traded regardless because Ainge didn't want to give into his contract demands. There's no guarantee he gives a 30 year old 5'8 PG the max or close to it.

Also you might want to wait for them to actually lose to the Raptors or Bucks and for him to leave free agency before presenting arguments as if they're factual events that have already occurred :skip:

the ether
Celtics fans don't want AD on the team. Pelicans are 23-29 with his services, empty stat machine and wherever he lands will see that :mjlol:

Can any one of the AD haters even explains what this means in this case? :gucci:

To me, "empty stat machine" usually means one of these things:

Puts up a bunch of points/assists but on crap efficiency.

or

Puts up a lot on offense but gives it all back on defense.

or

Puts up easy stats in blowout losses against teams that aren't trying.

None of those seem to describe AD to me. So how can it be just "empty stats"? What makes his stats magically worth less than other players' stats? There are a lot of great players who were stuck on bad teams forever and then became winners the moment they got to a better situation.

He's putting up numbers and the team isn't winning and he has more than enough talent to have this team over .500. Call it what you want, why is his team under .500? LeBron can take a team with scrubs and make the playoffs every year.

Harden has the Rockets way over .500 with dudes that are D-level talents. What's AD's excuse?
