Sengoku Youko: The Chaos of a Thousand Demons Arc Episode 1.

Really solid episode to start part 2 of the story.

So with Jinka gone berserk and Tama looking for Jinka on her own first, it is now up to Shinsuke to step up in the leader role. While he still has barriers to overcome, he can really be a good older brother figure for Senya. Who is literally a kid infused with great power.

He wants Senya to be a kid, and he makes a good number of friends alongside Tuskiko. Senya also saving them made you feel like Senya can finally be a kid. But unfortunately, not everything goes well here. It seems Senya is a target, but the biggest concern is how can Senya control his power. Jinun might not have been the best role model for Senya, but he could put him in situations to keep his power in check. Shinsuke won't fill that role. As we can see, while he defeated the regional God, he destroyed the city and Tuskiko's father.

No surprise Shinsuke has him and Senya moving on. But I love that the kids don't blame Senya. It gives him a place to come back to. It seems that Tuskiko seeks to be a swordswoman. We did hear the kids say she is the strongest among them and her spar with Senya did show she perhaps has decent fundamentals.

Regardless of what happened to Tuskiko's father, I hope her and Senya can get back to being friends. This friendship is also something Shinsuke can strive to protect. So Senya doesn't suffer a loss like he did when he lost Shakuyaku.

Finished watching Nekomonogatari Black, which covers the Tsubasa Family arc. This arc takes place between Kizumonogatari and Bakemonogatari. It starts with how Koyomi feels about Hanekawa. Given that this was written after Bakemonogatari, it feels a little awkward given that we know what Koyomi feelings are for Senjougahara. From that point, we know what to expect. Also, given that we know that Hanekawa falls in love with Koyomi it still brings up the why.

As we know from Bakemonogatari, Hanekawa has an apparition known as the Swari Neko, so the Neko trying to relieve Tsubussa's stress is something that we do know. But what we do learn here is that in some ways the Neko is using Tsubussa's strengths. An apparition that is considered weak, but given that how the Neko uses various strategies to beat out higher ranking apparitions. Just who is Tsubussa?

The big twist here is that while it is true that Hanekawa and Neko each have their own conscious. Slowly but surely, the two of them would be integrating as the Black Hanekawa apparition. At the end of the day, these two consciousnesses are still Hanekawa. The stress of wanting to deal with her parents and venting out her stress by killing people is sill her at the end of the day. The sad part of her venting out her stress against her parents is that they committed suicide is sad in that Hanekawa can never make up with them.

Much like in Kizumonogatari has the character flaw that he has here that doesn't develop until he is in Bakemonogatari. Which is taking everything for the person and their suffering on his own. Much like in the earlier parts of Bakemonogatari, Shinobu saves him and deals with separating Hanekawa and the Neko.

As this arc ends, we get Hanekawa forgetting everything that happened when she was the Black Hanekawa. But this doesn't raise the fact of how scary Hanekawa is. She is incredibly smart, but take away her calm resolve, she can be quite dangerous. In fact, even more so than Senjougahara. Overall, Nekomonogatari Black does an impressive job further characterizing Hanekawa and her issues. Plus the transition for Shinobu between Kizumonogatari and Nisemonogatari is fitting here. Would give it an 8.5/10 where its awkward timeline placement in the series and added fan service as its main knocks

Finished watching Mashle and currently watching Yatagarasu: The Raven Does Not Choose it's Master and That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime.
I don't know why it took me so long to watch Attack on Titan, but wow. 😭 The ending had me a little emotional. I so wanted a happy ending for Eren and Mikasa.

I just finished watching Kaiju #8 episode 12 and it's pretty good so far. There's some AOT vibes, but it's still pretty unique. I think the vice-captain and Levi Ackerman have similar roles. I'm really curious about Kafka's heritage and why the dragonfly Kaiju chose him and I'm also excited to see how much Reno will grow over the series.

Still watching the other two shows.

Compared to My Dress Up Darling, 2.5 Dimensional Seduction is more so cosplay and otaku-themed eccentric. Since it is fully aware of the various clichés and embraces them. While My Dress Up Darling is simply a RomCom with a cosplay theme.

TenSura S3 Episode 15

Damn Shion put in the work. The animation and direction have both been great since the 2nd half of the season started.

It's been awhile since we have seen Milim. Good thing Rimuru ain't thinking too hard and having her be useful since she is here. Though we see Shuna has her in-line like always. We haven't had a focus on Demon Lord Daggrull, but he sends his kids to get stronger by working on Rimuru wasn't expected. Given that Shion handled them, I am curious how strong he is.

Rimuru becoming a Demon Lord has solved issues rather effortlessly, like the situation with the Bovoids and Equinoids. Although Rimuru remembering the elves being taken as slaves back a few episodes. It would weigh on Rimuru's mind if he didn't solve that.

It looks like the Tengu clan, which Benimaru went and met is coming next. Curious how they are. Of course, we have the Empress supposed to be coming as well. The next episode should be very fun.

Bye Bye Earth Episode 2

This definitely has a making of an old school fantasy where it doesn't hold your hand. In the basis of show not tell is used. The only issue is regarding the pacing of how we learn the information. But so far, I am very intrigued, and visually it looks nice so far.

This episode's pacing def was on the fast time, but I assumed it needed to get the story moving a little bit. Lots of interesting stuff. Hopefully, the use of show not tell here ends up being worth it.

It is very likely Belle's home in in the sky like she asked. Or in more simpler terms, another planet. We do see a voice of a guy said that he found Belle, curious who that is. The most curious thing is the Rabbita that she met. It's a sign of good luck, so hopefully the start of her travels will be off to a good start.

We are introduced to the Law of Theme in Park City. Everyone is destined to be good or evil the moment they are born. That's something that I imagine is about to debate. For one, that is assuming the individual despite the journey will have the same destination. God makes sure you walk a certain path even if it may be variable. Of course, at what point when does the journey affects you becoming good or evil. Though Belle's point of being evil and doing evil are two different things. Essentially, the difference is acting on evil actions. I am curious if this gets brought up again.

Belle's curse is that she can't cut anything. Or more than likely, she can't cut as well as she used to. I think this serves as a lesson for her how to view life. Gaff mentions knowing the difference between a flower and a person. In a way, the curse can help her understand that difference. I am curious if it is possible to overcome the curse.

While Belle's goal is to be a nomad, in the now, she has to be a solist. Essentially, fulfill the contract with the King. Though having to entertain God to fulfill these contracts is definitely interesting. So the King who is a Priest resides with God. So it speaks for God? Or it represents God? Then we have the 3 stages, Arena of Blades, Throne Room and Dance Hall.

Definitely a lot to unpack in this episode. Hopefully, the exposition and world building slows a bit down next episode so we can digest what was given in this episode.
