You really don't mind watching low quality content. Like if they are adapting from the manga it's fine, but lets be honest here like I mentioned when @It is a mystery was posting about TYBW Pt 2. The pacing of this part would have been atrocious if it had the OG anime's pacing. Not to mention the animation quality would be noticeably worse.

Look at One Piece as an example. They still do the weekly shyt because it makes money. But the quality suffers as it adapts like 1 chapter per episode nowadays. Long running anime is great when the content is available and the studio doesn't feel forced to slow down the pacing. And unlike back then we get much more anime. Which is an issue in the industry, but in most cases you can find at least 3 shows worth watching each season.

Watched Episode one of Wistoria: Want and Sword, which is written by the author of Danmachi. Man this was so beautifully animated and is on par with "The Elusive Samurai" for most impressive debut episode.

This only adapted Chapter 1, but man they delivered. Extending the fights at the beginning and ending of the episode. And it looked sooooooooo good. Especially the fight with the sentinel.

Even the academy portrayal at the episode was greatly enhanced. Collette's reaction to being called cute and Worker's expression when he was pissed at Will for a minute. Voice acting is on point as well.

For those that are fans of Black Clover will like this since the premise is very similar. That being Mc can't use magic in magic riched world. Characters and story feels cliché, but it executes well on that. Overall a standout episode. The fact it elevated the manga is insane. As the art, paneling and chroegraphy are fantastic. Great debut episode.

Mission: Yozakura Family Episode 14

This episode adapted chapters 42+44. I do get why they would skip 43 since it isn't needed per say. They really adapted 42 well. Meanwhile, 44 could have been better. But the chapter itself is over the place, so it doesn't bother me. Also, the talk between Kyo and Futaba was anime original. Which is a nice sweet addition to the episode. Futaba sees slowly, but surely Taiyo has rubbed off on even Kyo no

The next 3 episode will probably be the most important to get right in the adaptation. Also, the beginning and in general felt like the visuals took a step-up? It did feel better to me at least. Regarding the episode, We now see some of the stuff Taiyo learned in the hospital investigation into practice. Hazakura is basically what Tanpopo creates to mimic the Yozakura Someinine. Good luck to Taiyo, although at least Shinzo is here.

Bleach and Petite Clova fillers weren't bad.

Hell the Bounto filler to me was better than some of the 12 eps seasons of shows some rave about in here
