TenSura S3 Ep 4

The anti-magic barrier is kind of cool addition. It's nice to see how the research team reflected on what happened and have an answer just in case what may happen again in the future. Although the potential to use any spell honestly could be a big weapon. Also, Rimuru already outlined a detailed plan for Milim's new castle. Rimuru is def a guy to really treat his friends and allies well.

This episode was much slower paced and not as much vital news. So those who have issues with it feeling really slow if very fair But the big thing with the realization of there being multiple masterminds at work. Which makes sense. The ones that Rimuru has to deal with are Luminous, Edward and Yuuki + Kazaream.

Looks like after her talks with Luminous, Hinata has her meeting with her knights. This will probably set the stage for what this season will be covering.

Yatagarasu: The Raven Does Not Choose Its Master Episode 4

This is getting better and better by the episode. The politics and fight for the throne between the brothers is getting more and more intriguing.

This episode really helped to give us great insight to the Prince's situation. For one who is destined to the throne, his journey has been rough. The empress basically been after him for quite a while. Also, you feel bad for his mother and sister for what they endured, and unfortunately the mother passed as a result.

Man the prince is entertaining I will tell you that. He intentionally riled up the people in that meeting so he could have people come after him to prove himself to Yukiya of his circumstance. Though this episode highlighted the tension between the two brothers and was the first time we got a feeling out of anger and frustration. Got to give him credit for keeping his cool even when his followers weren't. Prince really fooled his father to aside, but you know he is fully with the Empresses plans.

Great action scene at the end. I love how much more relaxed the Prince and Sumio are together when people are watching. You can tell they are good friends. Hopefully bit by bit Yukiya builds a bond with them as they hope. Though I am guessing given the end of the episode, the Prince has Yukiya on a mission of sorts.

Really liking this more and more. Yukiya is an entertaining lead and I really like how calculating the prince is. Very well-thought-out story so far.

Ranger Reject Episode 4

This episode adapted 7 chapters (6-12). Volume 2 is relatively slow, and it seems like they want to adapt up to volume 6/52 chapters in 13 episodes. Some things from the manga will be rushed. But the direction still was good despite that so I have faith.

The meeting between the rangers was interesting on two fronts. Suzukiri with a stone-cold face as she holds the Red Keeper's artifact and is calm as hell. She is crazy, but what truly motivates her is the most interesting. Red Keeper calls himself an ally of justice, but killed his second in command who tried to challenge him. It's clear he is talking about his sense of justice.

One thing you can't discredit Hibiki is his resolve. Even cutting off his own arm. But given he is the lowest rank you can have among the rangers as an independent. I question if he even has a plan to fix the Ranger Force, or he is literal winging it. At the very least D has his door in with the rangers.

Mission: Yozakura Family Episode 4

This episode adapted chapters 10 & 40, with a little bit of 5. Also, a bit of 4 and Kengo's disguise is from chapter 13. A lot of the early parts of the series is very SoL with Taiyou, Mutsumi and the family. The idea to streamline is good, but direction on how they go about it is key.

This episode was a focus more so on Kengo and Shinzo. Kengo is a fukking devil that that is a free bird. But Mutsumi knows how he thinks very well. She knows all the tricks he can do. The one weakness was that he doesn't know Taiyou as well as her and that results in her catching him.

I think this episode did give you an idea that Mutsumi isn't just a princess who is being protected by her siblings and rather she tries to do her part as the head. That amount of paperwork is insane. Plus Kyouichirou and Kengo at times don't make it nice for her at times.

Despite his lazed attitude in heart he really wants to look after Mutsumi as his mother instructed him. But he does so in his own way so it's sweet.

Shinzo is a softie, but when push comes to shove he will be there for both Taiyou and Mutsumi. Though it was funny that Mutsumi had to calm him done. Shinzo is a strong force, but he needs a good rock to boost his confidence and that is where Mutsumi and Taiyou can excel at.

Tho hopefully they are saving budget for the more important scenes as the animation towards the end of the episode was pretty meh.
