@LauderdaleBoss

When you said the payoff for Takemitchy was worth it, did that part already happen?

Because in the new OP I still see him getting his ass beat lmao.

I think he might be runnin in circles now trying to get kisaki back into Toman to keep Mikey from wildin out, because with him in Toman, the future was still bad for them.

I really wonder if he’ll stick with that plan or not, but to me it doesn’t make much sense because what will he do to change the future if he does come back?

I like this show for making me think like this.

I’ve been feenin to watch it everyday since I started.

I hope Takemitchy beats his ass and some other people too.

Only like 12 episodes left. I enjoyed the shyt out of this show.

:mjcry:
Are you gonna jump on the manga when you catchup?

Watched Oshi No Ko

The first episode was great…the rest was just SoL BS

6/10
Don’t you mean Drama BS. The SoL elements is what enhanced the first episode. There is very little sol it’s heavily melodrama after that.

I know brehs here hate sol but the difference between melodrama and sol is the same as battle shonens and romance :mjlol:

A Sign of Affection dropped its first episode was it was much better then I thought it was. Despite it being a Shoujo romance it doesn't have a lot of the annoying melodramas aspect you see typically from Shoujos typically. Not to mention how well written of a series it is.

This episode did a phenomenal job at showcasing how the world is in Yuki's eyes as a girl who essentially can't hear. Not only showing what she does to communicate which one could say is a big hassle. But the way it showcased how blank the world is when she can't here was some great direction in this episode. Yuki is a character that is very very easy to root for. Hopefully this adaptation holds up to how it was in episode 1.

@tripleaamin is Frieren an ongoing saga? how much of the story will they be able to cover in the anime? Without knowing anything about the source material, it kinda looks like the whole thing can be tied up and finish pretty neatly in the 28 episodes the season is gonna last :jbhmm:

Nah fam you gotta legit watch every episode.

The OP and ED are like lil rough summaries, but don't tell the whole story.

All the stakes are raised and nikkas get even more gangster. Show is like crack. You just gotta keep watching.

and remember subs are the limit for #NoReadGang so don't you dare disgrace your eyes with pictures that can't announce themselves via multi-media.

Yea its ongoing. Currently there is 120 chapters. So far it adapted 36 chapters. I expect them to finish near the end of volume 7. Currently 12 vols are out.

Honestly given the fact that the author seems to be involved with the anime (which is ABSOLUTELY what you want in a great anime adaptation) I think perhaps a 2 year break for the anime so that more work can be done with the manga. Also lead director was also a major part of the Bocchi the Rock anime so he would be cleared up to work on that show's season 2.

The beauty of Sousou no Frieren is that both the manga and anime are top notch. You can't go wrong with reading ahead and coming back to enjoy the anime, which gives me the feeling I had when reading the series for the first time. Still the anime is so good and getting your first taste from the anime is absolutely worth it if you are willing to wait.

I absolutely loved Dungeon Meshi's first episode. The main cast banter and chemistry was fukking great. They actually going in depth with cooking and mixing that with the comedy is great. Looks like a great adaptation from Trigger. :ehh:

I enjoyed it a lot as well.

I'm with Marcile tho, she in a party with savages. Eating all that strange meat :dame: They in a fantasy world too so I know the parasites and diseases real nasty.

Gawd damn, that jreh deserves awards and to lead any project he wants, dude is outstanding :wow:

And I'll be interested in how I feel at the end of the season. There's some series that are so well made and are able to tie up their arcs so well that I don't feel the need the read ahead like Vinland Saga, Mob Psycho or Ousama Rankings. It's all about how they close out and how big of a cliffhanger I'm left by tbh.

Frieren has an uncanny ability to make every scene and interaction matter, it's amazing.

Really great start to the 2nd cour for Apothcary Diaries. Going from the rear palace to the outer palace adds for a different view of perspective to how things are run their and how the people around the outer palace operate compared to the rear palace.

Ep 13

So we will be going from Maomao working under Gyokuyou to Xaomao working under Jinshi. Well no surprise the other girls will get jealous. And its interesting to note how much more educated they are then the ones in the rear palace. With that education comes a bigger pride. Well Maomao adapted quickly in that situation.

Maomao failing her first court lady exam was kind of expected and in character. Jinshi got to make her invested or she won't care. The military is where Maomao isn't supposed to go. Curious whom that fellow is.

Also I loved the reflection of Maomao talking about the family she can come back to Its sweet that she now has more of flexibility to come back home then she did in the rear palace.

Also :mjlol: :pachaha:

I watched the 1 hr episode os Sasaki and Peeps and honestly it prob had the best ep 1 so far. It's hard to talk about it without going into spoilers, but the foundation of the show is really really intriguing. It had a good amount of unexpected weird things, but like Dungeon Meshi these are unexpected weird things using it as a positive turn. It's a series that has a lot of potential and def the top of my list of shows to look forward to this season.
