Essential What Anime are you currently watching?

Come to think of it I also dropped the misfit of demon king academy. That first season hit. but somehow that 2nd season wasn't doing it and then the break happened and it came back and that shyt still wasn't hitting anymore so I said fukk it.

Pacing was atrocious before it went on hiatus. So if you just jumped back in when it came back you would have no idea what the central plot was. If you were looking for just fukkery yea you would hate it especially since Anos VA was changed.

But it delivered the episodes on post hiatus the emotional ties with Misa being the child of god and everything surrounding that. The lore and world building were really interesting for me. The problem is it rushed everything so the impact of so many things really suffered as a result.

SxF is back

Great idea to adapt Extra Mission 2 to start off since it is the perfect vibe to start this season for SxF. Great start to the episode. Tho not really a big fan of either OP or ED for this season tbh.

Ragna Crimson finished adapting volume 1 in ep 2.

Comparing it to the manga. With how they adapted this episode was weird. It felt slightly rushed. And its weird the pages we adapted is around the same amount as episode 1 and that is double the length.

To me the change to when Leo wakes up really bothers me a lot considering it really lost the emotional impact from the manga. Leo is just incredibly sad to be left behind. While in the manga it Sykes reaction to finding her and Leo was beyond shooked with Ragna leaving her. It's a disapointing change.

Still Crimson's VA nailed this role. Giving a sense of mysterious and intimidating at the same time. Makes me very excited going forward. My biggest worry is how consistent the animation can stay at. Cause if the animation is good enough some seasons are gonna be bangers to say the least. They set the tone very well. WIth the big thing being Ragna forcibly splitting up from Leo. Ragna knows from his previous life that everyone close to him dies. Which is why he does what he did in this episode.

Watched 3 more new seasons.

• The first being a Tearmoon Empire. This first episode really impressed me. Basically Princess Mia who eventually received the death penalty due to leading her country to its doom from the citizens revolting. It sets her to traveling back in time 8 years ago with giving her a 2nd chance to turn things around. The way it set up to how her staff perceived of her and that scene that went back and forth between the 8 year window with Anne was well done.
• The 2nd being The Vexations of a Shut-In Vampire Princess. Basically the lead Komari is a Vampire who has been a shut in for 3 years and now is tasked to lead a 500 man army. And has to be intimidating which is not in her nature. Comedy seems to be pretty good, tho has a decent amount of yuri fanservice. There does seem to be an issue of a neverending war, so it will be interesting if this could cause the story to be more serious since the first episode was very comedic.
• The last was Protocol: Rain. And well I don't really know what to make out of it outside of it being a E-Sports anime. Tho man that game looked janky . Trolls gonna have a field day with this one. It seems the Mc has some past trauma of some sorts, which wasn't explained. A poor directed first episode in the sense I don't know what the goal of this show is. like i definitely wouldn't have read this past season of Vinland, but watching it was flames

Dr. Stone also is a more entertaining watch for me than reading



if a story has unhinged characters and a batshyt crazy author who lets their characters run wild tho i can't help but read ahead

A Returner's Magic nailed the first ep. It prolly won't get "good" for another few eps, though. Still, this and the upcoming Solo Leveling (which also won't get good during it's first few eps) gives me hope that studios will give other manhua a chance.

long as they don't butcher them like they did God of Highschool and Tower of God. shyt was embarrassing



Watched "I shall survive using potions". It's my favorite flavor of cotton candy mid (like BOFURI and VMMO). Girl dies due to celestial being fukking up, gets isekai'ed, but cons her way into getting the abilities to understand ALL languages (backfires cause she can understand animals too), the ability to make any potion she can imagine. She not imagining shyt but healing potions and appearance changing potions right now, though. But it's only the first ep.

I don't recommend any of my mid anime to other posters. It's for weirdos like me.

Shangri La Frontier had a great fukking 2nd episode.

Really dives deeper into the game/world mechanics and the fighting animation was dope as hell. Very entertaining episode. Really makes you wanna go play a video game and start a boss battle.

One thing I appreciate about the show is that he has the dual weapons. I used to train in Arnis/Esrkima and we would use dual sticks and machetes to train/fight with. Always liked that shyt cuz you can attack and defend at the same time and the combo potential is endless. So the fights really be hitting when that nikka gets going.

Shangri La-Frontier finshed adapting chapter 1 and chapter 2. Man oh man this adaptation looks so fukking good. It looks great, animation is great, choreography is great. I can keep gushing over it like I am doing with Frieren. And the fact its taking its time makes it feel so immersive is just the cherry on top. Absolute must watch and looks to be the best action show of the season.

Really liking what Overtake is doing. Its really giving you a great understanding the perspective of the team. Really going in depth with the sport is really really cool to me.

Also 100 Kanojo debuting today. Prob the best ongoing harem comedy and as a parody of the genre its great. Adaptation looks really good not only is it poking fun like it does in the manga, but it is even add points from the manga for some great changes. Stating the obvious but if you looking for a serious romance this aint it.

Didn't realize the new season would be streaming on Hulu as well. That's how I watched the 1st season.

Dark Gathering Ep 14 adapted Chapter 17 and the start of 18 very faithfully.

And man oh man the execution on this episode was great . Episode even gave me chills. Good shyt. Adaptation has even exceeded my expectations. Next episode should be a great one.
