Vanitas is fukking killing me here. That whole kissing sequence was a$$hole number 1 and it was done very well. Beyond all that we are introduced to what is essentially corrupting all these vampires. Just seeing how Noel reacts to that memory is just enough to realize how terrifying that is.

We are also introduced to Dominique who is essentially friends with Noel. She tells him to escort but proceeds to put him on a leash lmao. Of course, Vanitas followed them into the vampire world. Which was very interesting to me at least. Although it is made clear that this isn't Vanitas first time here. Definetly excited for next week's episode.

His lack of development has always been my indictment for the character.

and dudes kept trying to underrate him by saying he can't control his powers. :mjlol:

Dude was Top 4 in his class at the very least Day 1. :mjlol:

Then we find out he got even more quirks :mindblown:

Not to mention I feel like he hasn't developed at all. My man Tanjiro had more development in his first 5 episodes than Deku has had in 5 seasons.
I liked how they made Tanjiro. At first I was watching the show and was like, “please tell me this isn’t another Deku type character.”

I like Deku, but I don’t want other characters to act like him.

Tanjiro started off like Deku in the first few episodes, but he became a lot more confident.

I’m glad they kept Tanjiro as a good hearted person but still bout it at the same time.

I also like how the characters react to his kindness.

His kindness has a purpose in the story.

Just finished the DS movie which is phenomenal, but the end left me completely speechless.

I was not expecting that since they didn’t do that in the show, and to do something like that at the end of a movie is something else.

If it’s during a show, at least people can see what happens next in the story, but to end it like that before a new season is wow….

Don’t think I’ve ever seen an anime movie end on a note like that.

I used to think that dude was the main character before I watched the show. I liked his character.

Yeah if someone doesn't like reading I don't care, it has nothing to do with me. It's all about preference and at the end of the day and whether it's anime or manga it's all apart of the same thing I just prefer manga most of the time.

It makes sense though because most people in America came in through watching anime rather than reading manga. Besides Naruto, DBZ and Pokémon I was reading manga before I was watching anime.
I think of stuff like Psyren. I liked that series and watching the anime wasn’t possible. I’m not saying reading is superior I’m saying it’s a great supplement.

I know but telling them #NoRead dudes that is pointless, they clearly don’t want to read. I like manga more but if someone doesn’t see it the same way you just gotta respect it and let them do them.

I think it’s better to discuss manga with people who also love it rather than to try and tell someone who isn’t into it how great it is.

So today's MHA episode is filler and sort of anime-original apparently. MHA fans mad AF right now. :lolbron:

Ironically the episode is better than all but 2 of the episodes from its first half of the season since those had some garbage pacing.

:mjlol: i said it months ago

MHA is a perfect example of material that needs to be pried away from its creator. Since S2, everything that isn't canon has been better. And everything that is canon has been saved by top tier animation.
