What's the hot shyt right now? My all time favorites are Yu Yu Hakusho, Demon Slayer, Samurai Champloo, Code Geass, and Kuroko's Basketball.

Just finished Akadama Drive. Show was incredible. Jujutsu Kaisen is also fantastic. God of High School is flawed but really fun. Not gonna watch AoT S4 until the first half is done. Need to finish most recent season of Jojo. Mostly up to date on Black Clover. With this info do you guys have some recommendations?

Here's my list so far

Vinland Saga
Golden kemuy
Noblesse
Dr stone

My nikka you got excellent taste. Everything on your list, I highly recommend. I'll add a few more tho.

FireForce - picture a new age xmen but the powers are based on fire abilities
Ahiru No Sora - (dope basketball anime, like a hybrid between Kuroko n Slam Dunk)
Junni Taisen - good action and violence
Mob Pyscho 100
One Punch Man
Glelpnir

I'm 37 and been watching anime damn near all my life. Pops used to rent the tapes from the video place and we'd all watch the shyt.
He wasn't taking home no kiddie bullshyt for us to watch. Shieet, Superbook came on regular tv so a nikka was bringing home Fist of the North Star, Ninja Scroll, Akira, and etc....I'll never forget the 1st time we all were watching Ninja Scroll and that snake came out that bytch p*ssy. We were all :gladbron::ooh::whoo:

Seeing shyt like that and you not even a preteen yet will definitely leave a lasting impression. From then on as I got older I was seeking out violent action based shyt, so a lot of shyt that didn't fit that mode or look interesting, I ended up ignoring. I noticed a lot of my peers that got into anime later were fukking with all the popular shyt that was out, but shyt wasn't doing it for me like that.

I done seen so much anime during my life, I done forgot some of them so occasionally I go back to a few, but its rare. I just finished rewatching Cowboy Bebop for the first time since it came out. shyt was cool back then, but no masterpiece. Felt the same way last week. Almost feel like its overrated. Meanwhile, I done prolly rewatched YuYu and Street Fighter V series 3 or 4 times.

I just be on some different shyt when it comes to anime. Its just pure fun an entertainment for me. I couldn't name studios or directors and all that other shyt. Only remember Viz video cuz I used to get the mail catalog to see what new anime was coming out. Certain shyt that looked like it had potential, that I missed out on, I'll definitely go back, but if that shyt is over 50 episodes, it'll prolly never happen.

I don't look at it as a handicap. I just look at it as me just fukking with the shyt I like. :manny:

My anime opinions be different from most of ya'll nikkas here, but I be consistent and will always give my reasons.

Its dope, but more like 8 out of 10 dope, which is cool, but not good enough for some people who worship it as a masterpiece. I feel like the show only gives you its brilliance in spots and the novelty of the concept is spreads thin over 26 episodes. The best episodes usually involved the Syndicate or someone's past backstory. So I only got like a handful of real piff to enjoy which aint enough to call a masterpiece for the amount of episodes it had. Trim the series down to like 15 episodes or etc... and that shyt prolly goes up a notch for me. Show has little replay value compared to other shyt I think are real masterpieces. Like I would prolly only rewatch an episode or two, but never the whole thing like I know a lot of others do.

I honestly think the movie is better than the series.
I think a lot of the admiration for it based off nostalgia since it was prolly one of the first anime they experienced which is cool, but everybody gets in the game differently. :manny:

Yeah. I get differing opinions and tastes. And I respect them when they come from anyone other than @Bryan Danielson

but not having Bebop as one of the best ever in the medium is a permanent :leostare: from me

Catching up with AoT.

Man that whole time skip shyt has been fukking me up. And niccas looking older, didnt recognize them from their youthful selves. Its intriguing seeing shyt from the other sides POV but that last scene I was like :ooh: Cuz I didnt know that was "him"

I almost feel like I needed to go back and watch last season to prepare for this one.

Sidenote..... this show reaffirms why Berserk world>>AoT World

Whats up with so many suicides on this show:mjlol:

And buddy put the rifle to his head and was damn close to ending his shyt too:russ:

Thats a miserable world to live in:picard:

as long as someone doesn't call Bebop average or bad, not gonna argue with them on that opinion. I have takes on anime that go against the thread consensus too.

Exactly.

I can see if I called that shyt Mid like how nikkas be calling everything they don't think is a masterpiece nowadays. :mjlol:
