Essential What Anime are you currently watching?

I'm guessing a lot of people stopped there because I haven't read or watched One Piece in like almost a decade. I got out of the manga around 2010 when they went to that Sabo, Luffy, Ace flashback thing. I've been waiting to see if it wraps up. Didn't plan to stop for 10 years but it's crazy that you can stop following something for that long and still have it be ongoing. It's not that I don't like One Piece I just wanted it to finish so I could go through the rest. It's highly likely I'll resume it soon though.

gonna also take the time to watch Inuyashiki, since I never bothered and the dude in that vid looks batshyt insane.

Its been entirely too slow a season for me. But I've enjoyed the shyt out of this arc of Railgun

My next life shows how a show could be good with a charismatic lead, who isn't on some over powered for no reason bullshyt. It isn't action packed, but a good time killer.

Railgun is on hold until July
Summer anime season is about to be stacked.

Breh are they even going to address Charmy being a Dwarf? It was touched on briefly but shouldn't a living specimen of a supposedly dead race require more explanation? I mean, that's got to be the root of her power right?

Everybody is a killer. Every fight has fukkery AND tension. You just get to sit back and enjoy

Finished Shippuden, overall I give it a 6 out of 10. Enjoyable for what it was. I loved the OST and how they incorporated them throughout the show. They hit all the emotional notes at the right time. Con, too many flashbacks, sometimes they would flash back to some shyt that literally happen 1 or 2 episodes ago. The writer handling of Sakura was downright disrespectful, they gave Naruto mom more impact in 30 mn than Sakura in 500 plus episodes. If they ended up making Naruto and Sasuke gay for each other it would make more tonal sense than what the writers of Avatar Legend of Korra did with that character.

Watched all of Slam Dunk, always wanted to check it out and see how it stacked up to Koroko back when Koroko was poppin.

Really good, it focuses more on the team aspect of basketball rather than the individual talent of players like Koroko, and the main character is actually bad at basketball, so for people who don't understand the game they may enjoy it more. I think they are about equal overall though. Gonna have to read to finish the rest of it because the anime doesn't cover the full story.

You seen Kuroko or Hajime No Ippo yet? Sports anime is legit. Haikyuu is fukking outstanding though and a lot of other shows can't fukk it with it straight up.

Hajime No Ippo is the GOAT, but have you checked out Major (the original series) yet? I think it stands toe to toe with Hajime.

I’m assuming later on or when she is in a dire situation a flashback will occur cus they need to explain that shyt cuz that shyt is OP so far
