You don't like the performance? Those kids worked hard on that :to: or do you not like the Lolicon Youtube killer :mjlol:

A mix of both. :yeshrug:

The motivation for the Festival & then the actual Festival were background noise, which kinda undermined the entire thing.

Gentle is.....Gentle. :hubie:

Started watching Smile Down the Runway. Reminds me of Chihayafuru. I’m suprised this is Shounen.
Just finished this and it's definitely shounen. It's about fashion and fashion design but it follows the shounen formula precisely. It's more Bakuman than Chihayafuru. Picture dream chasing like Bakuman but the girlfriend character had a 35% focus and the male lead was the other 65% but remove all romance. The lead female does remind me of Chihaya though from a personality standpoint but she lacks the natural talent for her dream.

Umineko is still bad after all these years, Mirai Nikki and Mekakku City Actors, too. Higurashi less so.

Show was alright, wouldn't mind if we got a sequel. Chiyuki might lack the natural talent of a model but that is the counter to Ikuto being a natural designer. She has all the experience but also has a big disadvantage, he has the talent but lots to learn.

Yeah if there was a sequel I would unquestionably watch it. The female lead was quite good for a shounen show. Usually the shounen protagonist is undeservedly great. She's very flawed but a hard worker I feel like if she makes it she most def would have earned it. Even the male lead is to a lesser extent not a genius at his craft.
