should read Durkheim's suicide before speaking on this. Very insightful.

So, they were just gonna throw the bombs in the carriage and all the guards/security/people in the crowds would just let them get away?

Right.

A POTENTIAL SUICIDE MISSION IS NOT THE SAME THING AS A DEFINITE SUICIDE BOMBING, BROTHER!

I KNEW, WHEN I STEPPED INTO THE RING WITH ANDRE THE GIANT AT WRESTLEMANIA III, THAT I MIGHT RISK MY OWN LIFE IN THE EFFORT TO FINALLY DEFEAT THAT GREATEST OF GREAT MONSTROUS WRESTLERS, DUDE! BUT I HAD NO INTENTION OF DYING THAT DAY UNDER THE WEIGHT OF THE 6739 POUND COLOSSUS, JACK!

As an atheist, this just seems like common sense. Majority of people, whether they admit it or not, have thought about suicide at some point in their lives. Religious people will usually hold off longer on the actual act than will an atheist, but only because the religious person will fear Hell, as suicide is considered a sin in most religions. So, religion curbs suicide rates through fear of burning in Hell, essentially. I mean, it's not that extraordinary. I don't get how this in controversial or considered a win by the religious.

This is scary stuff. Essentially you're pointing to complete devaluation of life. I feel this would make one a threat to themselves and everyone around them.

Do you think suicide is a vice or a virtue? In your own opinion...

unless you don't deny objective morality.

Exactly -- Which you can't determine by my belief or non-belief in the existence of a god. Any stance I have on a number of things might be inconsistent or illogical, but atheism is not one of them.

Your stance on 'good' vs. 'evil' is inconsistent because you're an atheist.

What is the basis of your 'objective morality' if you don't deny it's existence?

No, because someone being a theist doesn't mean they automatically accept that morality is objective.

And again, that says nothing about ATHEISM being illogical or incoherent. Just because some atheists tend to hold similar beliefs doesn't mean they are staples of non-belief.
