fans don't buy cds and/or read credits. The same reason that Mike Elizondo can't get $50k a track on his own, but can while working with dre.

Thing is, when Mike tried to produce Hip Hop on his own, his tracks were trash, lol. He's better off working with rock artists.

The sh*t he was doing for Bishop Lamont and Stat Quo was embarrassing. Dre is there for a reason.

First the Fat Boys break up....:mjcry:

Pharrell was looking at those splits with disgust after all these years:scust:. He tried to pull a fast one :laff:
Actuallly I don't know the details, but from what I read, Pharell quickly trademarked it to keep others from doing it and then offered Chad his 50% share. That's what I got from reading it

God's Plan
a rep for said there had been no ill-intent. The goal here was to make sure a third party doesn’t get a hold of the trademark and to guarantee Chad and Pharrell share in ownership and administration
ehh, imma give him the benefit of the doubt here. pharrell has existed as a solo entity for at least a decade now. can’t remember the last time I saw a neptunes credit or saw the logo. it isnt like he needs the name. hopefully whatever confusion can be worked out w/o more of this.

What about Swizz?

Swizz? The man who singlehandedly created Beyonce by sabatoguing Alicia Keys? Probably as a favor to his long time friend Jay-z?

Im not even saying he did anything sinister. Just the marriage alone interwined his wackness with her and rubbed off. It was too much for her to overcome. She was projected to be the next Stevie:francis:

And the Drag On album? One of the worst produced albums Ive ever heard. Imagine being asked to rap over a 10 car collision on a highway. Have to go back and listen to his early stuff. But from what i remember he was good briefly and just fell off hard as hell. But he had the big name people continuing to come back for more. After seeing that im convinced a cocaine dealer with a good reputation could switch to flour, and the customers would take two years to notice. He literally sold trash beats for a good decade and a half, and everybody was cool.

Ny your logic, his "wackness" should've rubbed off on Beyonce too since he produced four successful singles for her ("Check On It", "Ring The Alarm", "Get Me Bodied" and "Upgrade You").

He wasn't selling trash beats. He was selling beats to people who obviously didn't hear what you heard.
