I can't lie I at this OP. But we've all been through this though.
I've been rocking a fro for the last few years to change it up a bit. (Not the Duke starting 5 haircut ) but it's been easier for me because I just get a simple lineup then I'm out. That feeling of girls running their hands through your hair is a moment.
And I'm on my shyt. But OP you'll be back on your feet in 2 weeks just put everything on standby especially talking to that girl at work

you'll be iight brudda put some castor oil on it will speed up the growing process.......not everyone is blessed with a GOAT crisp george paul type hairline.....even tho i have seen plenty of cats with great linear hairlines like my homie but still bald from the top of there head...

and yeah its time to get on a new wave and start giving yourself line up and fades.....line ups are not hard to map out, fades take time to get down let alone perfect but its worth learning.... youtube is your friend, my technique took a different turn from watching a bunch of vids(chuka torres is that dude)....btw don't use any ordinary clipper that's where a lot of dudes mess up like myself at first....andis t outliner, wahl detailer are the best but pricey, its well worth it though cause majority of shops charge to damn much even for the basics smh.......
