I said in previous topics women where racist and colorstruck towards Black Men.... I was called a loser and a troll... this entire 'Street Harassment' gig is aimed at Dark Skin Black Men.

If blue eye'd Jeremy Meeks or Michael Ealy Type's or any random white guy where to holler at these black women, they'd wouldn't have a problem.

Basically a Black Man who isn't a mullato is pretty much considered a rapist by these women, no matter how respectful he is... that one chick even had problems with guys saying 'Hi' to her.

Ironically these same black feminists will still use the color-ism trope and the unwed statistics against black men, but whenver black men do approach them they get accused of harassment HAHAHA.

These women simply have issue with black men hitting on them point blank.

It's not the message but the messenger.

OMFG what the fukk is about Jeremy Meeks that has you nikkas hating so bad? Oh poor dark skin men, you all must have it so hard. Stop playing the color card. I don't even look at light skin dudes like that, I prefer dark men, so your little excuse doesn't work.

I'm not black.

Also you didn't address the issue.

Women have issues with Dark Skin Men hitting on them, white guys, soft featured blue eyed mulattoes, Asians will get these black feminists panties wet.

You are talking out of your ass and since you are not a black man your opinion is not needed here.

the internet
didnt read thread, but...

...
Ill just say, dont take people who post on internet msg boards/twitter too serious.
People who critique everything arent taking action themselves.
I have to check myself sometimes w/ posting on places like this...it accomplishes nothing, I should be using that time working on myself.

Its much easier to talk about what others are/arent doing, than to take action in your own life.

Doers do, talkers talk.

The past few days has made me realize something. You black men are complete pussies when it comes to checking each other, but you have no problem pointing out a black woman's flaw or telling them what they need to do for the black community.

This whole street harassment thing has shown me that instead of acknowledging black women and their concerns, they would rather make fun and point fingers at her. "Oh you were probably dressed like a slut." "Oh you made it up, that doesn't happen to my mama(cousin, auntie, grandma)." You do anything to avoid having to look at your fellow black man and acknowledge that he is the problem and he needs to be addressed.

It's not just this issue, it's with drug selling in the community, dead beats not parenting their kids, and more issues, you point the finger at black women, you blame " black matriarchy" without even thinking of the black man's hand in all of these issues.

On another forum, a male poster made a thread asking black women not to give up on black men, yet I won't hold my breath for a don't give up on black women thread because he would actually have to criticize another black man and we know black men don't do that especially when it is in defense of black women.

Take your neg reps or whatever other crap you think will bother me and kindly shove it up your ass. Don't bother posting one or two dusty old videos of one of the few black men with balls to check other black men. We knew the majority are not like that. Also I am not here to argue, I came to give my opinion and there is no amount of bullshyt you can spew that will change what I see with my own eyes.

Toodles.
Black men are checking other black men all of the time. Some of you black women(assuming that's what you are) truly in an alternate universe. It's black women who never ever ever check themselves. Pandering to black women telling them what they want to hear is a billion dollar industry. Black women simply don't like to be criticized or challenges in any way. This street harassment bullshyt is a perfect example.

Black men aren't dismissing the notion that some women are harassed on the street. Black men are challenging the motive of this movement and the attempt to criminalize something that's arbitrary. It's not like black feminists came to black men on some "we got some family issues that we need to deal with" type shyt. Nah black feminists came out on a "this is reason number 1million and one why black men ain't shyt" all while trying to use the system of white supremacy to criminalize vague behavior. It's not clear what exactly constitutes street harassment. What one woman considers street harassment the next woman might consider good game. It could even depend on who the guy is. A woman might be flattered by one guy approaching her on the street and feel harassed by the next man approaching in the same manner. YouTube is full of videos of women responding positively to being approached on the street(I only yous YT as an example because we can all verify it. I've seen countless examples of this is real life). You women aren't even being honest about the legit challenges that have been made of the movement because you're too busy crying trying to play the victim. Stop it.

I will acknowledge that definition of "street harassment" is very vague and creating new legislation may very well have undue racial implications for black men. However, having been th victim Of serious street harassment by a man, I would like the men of the Coli to understand that there are very aggressive, dangerous men out there who verbally and physically accost women in the street. It's a real concern for us. Please understand this.

The fact that this thread is attracting non-black people trying to create further agitation should tell you all you need to know about this thread and how stupid it is.
The topic itself isnt stupid, but its probably not the best place to discuss it.

So what do you consider serious street harassment to be? We already have laws on the books against any kind of physical harassment so I'm just trying to get a clear understanding of what street harassment is in the current day context. Like I said, street harassment to one women can be good game to the next.

Since you understand our concerns about legislation associate with this then will you take a stand against any moves to bring legislation about?

Personally I consider street harassment to be unwanted, sexually degrading, verbal or physical contact with an individual. I've had a man spit in my face because I didn't want to give him my number.
And yes, I would oppose any new legislation since such laws exist already,
