ur right about it being about versatility, but there's a huge difference between playing coverage on ST like constanzo and returning kicks like ginn. if ginn played in the title game, we would've been in the super bowl. period.

as one-dimensional as ginn might be, he's a game changer. constanzo isn't.

I agree with you that we win if Ginn was in, 100%.

But I think the goal is to not be in that spot again, and to make Williams/LMJ a guy we can rely on like that, and not to hold onto a guy because that's the only thing he does, albeit very well.

Ahh, it's just fun to talk about, honestly, I`d like us to keep both of Ginn/KW

Alright man, you think Harbaugh is as emotional as a fan is? I think he works with a little more tact than that.

I`m not saying for sure, but if we only keep 5 Ginn isn't one of them.

If he truly believes in no turnovers and field position ginn will return, I don't trust Williams or a rookie to return punts

I know you don't, and I myself said I don't want to see KW back there this year, but we're not making the calls.

Harbaugh is a very bold dude, I don't see him living in the past on this one.You don't assume LMJ and KW are gonna turn it over, you coach them up so that they don't do so. You work on making your players better instead of hiding their weaknesses.

Kw is always jittery returning punts I remember he fumbled one against Seattle I think

I'm not even into Manningham like that just totally done with Crabtree, he's shown he is not an impact WR at all

At least Manningham can be somewhat explosive, Crabtree is a bad Keyshawn Johnson with 1 year left on his deal, I'd rather see Mario ball out then CrabTHREE

It's too early to write off Crabtree yet, the dude has been nicked up for most of the year and he accounted for about 1/5 of our passing offense and 4 out of 17 TD's thrown by Alex Smith. This season coming up I think will define Crabtree and what player he can be but he is a solid receiver and perhaps with another year in the offense and more confidence with Alec Smith he can have a break out year. As good as Moss is, he'd be better served a #2 or Z receiver, he would be best lined up against opposing teams worst corners to take advantages of mismatches. If Crabtree doesn't step up this season then we exercise out options, but it's some what unfair to say he isn't an impact player, the guy has been in double coverage his career.

I think you can see his skill set isn't that of an impact player, he gets little separation and he doesn't have much speed at all, he doesn't out jump anyone for a football ever

If anything his skill set has shown him tobe a possession WR and a good blocker, that is the bottom line on him at this point. Hopefully he gets back to practicing soon because that's adore question mark with him too

Also he had 4 tds but only 3 came from Alex, e other one came from David Akers on a fake fg, so I don't even count that one
