Apple has phones, tablets, macs, apple tv etc in peoples hands. Death stranding directors cut is across apple's ecosystem and the base is used to digital purchases if the price makes sense. Apple already has game center and can enhance it.

I'm a Nintendo stan at heart, but the lack of competition is bad for gamers all over. Where the urgency for quality control? Competitive pricing?

A $1200 console will be a real thing by 2028 with the launch of the PS6.

THey won't have a super expensive console because they still need to sell the product to the masses. However, I could see PS6 being priced at $600 at launch. I think Sony knows they can push but not push too much where people get disgruntled. It's pretty much what they did with PS+ raising by 30%. AIn't no way is essentials worth $100CDN/year

I think the bigger worry about this if Sony starts to cut back on their in house games because there might not be a need to push for these big AAA games and take fewer risks. Plus, the trickle down effect for third parties at Sony's mercy for marketing. Also, I think there's a possibility we see them take fewer chances on funding third party games like Nioh, Rise of Ronin, Stellar Blade, etc. Anyway, it should be interesting to see what Sony does, but I don't think they're stupid enough to push too much where people don't buy product.

by making the xbox one more powerful from the jump. Scrapping the chips once they caught wind of Sony. PS4 and Xbox one both had weak jaguar cores for the time period anyways. Better cpu, faster and/or more ram, and NVME as Microsoft knew it was coming (Wintel relationship was still intact).


Microsoft needed to play the power game since ps4 was the same system as the xbox one (xbox lost their easy to develop advantage) with a few performance tweaks.

We are already getting some walk back. cac tweets are now claiming hifi was “canceled” for switch.

This is how it always goes. They throw out a bunch of “maybe” and “thinking about”s then people react to it like it’s factual news then when the shyt don’t happen then say. “well plans changed but the rumors were real”

No company is gonna respond to every twitter rumor.

I 100% guarantee the reaction to the rumors is very much disproportionate to what the announcement actually is.

They are gonna come out and say “some games might come to other platforms to grow our audience, but we remain committed to box hardware, this is the hardware we’ve been working on”
