I've been an Xbox fan since day one. Been an Xbox Live user since year one, but the writing has been on the wall for years. I've seen this with Windows Phone, Microsoft Band, Windows Media Center Edition, Groove Music, Cortana, etc. It's over for Xbox. Phil will let it bleed out slowly like Microsoft did with those other dead projects I mentioned above. It was good while it lasted.
