I respect him for writing his own shyt. Hell Drake can’t even write an entire song by himself but Tyler can write Plays, TV shows, AND film script?!?!?

Most of his work is chitlin circuit type material that plays on stereotypes, predictible writing, the occasional satirical comedy, and it is not of high production quality in my opinion either.
I give him his due that he's found a formula that works for him and replicated it continually to the point of owning, operating, and managing his own shyt.

TP is also known for shooting very fast, not doing many takes, and like i said in the other post - he shot Madea BOO Haloween in 6 days!!

He doesn't deal w/unions so he can skirt around long costly shoots, combine that with this here and we're starting to see how he really makes his money - he doesn't like paying anybody.

Probably quality purposes. Director wanted to get the right take. Stanley Kubrick made Shelly Duval do 150 takes of the same scene in the Shining. It literally drove her insane.
