Complaining about sitcoms is so off base

I was going to make a thread(still might) on how the 90s zealots hold up sitcoms to show why the 9"a was the superior decade is just :laff:

Sitcoms were basically putting different characters in the same situations on ever sitcom.

The format had no diversity. Whatsoever

Its not off base at all.....You're just spewing B.S. rhetoric to enforce a weak point......And the bolded is false........and I see you didn't list any examples.

I most certainly would....and as a grown man, I still check for certain animated flicks......No question.......Besides, most of the hot series are subscription based and should not count as television.........

If you gotta pay for it, of course it should be a notch better than free\regular television.....But in a lot of cases, its not....
Horrible logic :what: having the option to pay for better television is a bad thing?

I think the fact that we can watch are favorite shows with little to no interruption and In order plays a big part in it.

In the 90's we had to catch a show at the right time every week, flip between shows and not to mention share the TV time with the Fam...:damn:

can an argument be made that FX made these other networks come with the heat. :lupe: (we talkin basic cable tho :whoa:)

im just throwing it out there..... even their less popular series' hit the mark (main ex: the bridge) and, as i recall, they pushed the envelope with TV-MA shows b4 the other networks (the shield which i haven't seen, Nip/Tuck, and Rescue Me)

FX has had hit after hit ever since. where FOX on broadcast tv fails, FX picks up the slack in a MAJOR way.

that's ironic because that's one of the shows i don't like. I'd rather watch The League, Legit, or Louie :wow:.
Ah scratch that. Didn't realize Louie was on FX. Haven't had cables in a few yrs. Know what? I'm sure theres something else on that channel I like for real. I just don't seem to know wtf is on there lol

It's almost impossible to objectively judge cartoons/kid shows(and sitcoms to a certain extent) that you grew up watching as a kid. Nostalgia will almost always have the biggest influence

In 20 years, you'll have people talking about iCarly/Sam & Cat/whatever the fukk else kids are watching these days representing the golden age of kids shows
