I've heard this is dope...but shyt if I keep adding shows to the rotation, I wont get shyt done.

Californication is supposed to finish after this season too

It is, we have a thread on here about it that's pretty active during the season. The latest one just ended and it's only season 2 so it wouldn't take long to catch up.

It may have the best looking cast of female characters in a drama ever :ohlawd:

i'm old enough to remember TV when there were only 13 stations in NYC...unless you went to channel U.
i still don't understand how U worked.
anyway, yes...yes this is a golden age for television.
is it better than movies?
yes.
do i still enjoy movies?
yes.
the thing is that TV is able to dig way deeper.
15 episodes and each are an hour long with no commercials...add onto that there are multiple seasons.
it's not even a question.
when TV is done well it is a beast onto it's self.
ask Tony Soprano.
The way these TV writers are able to develop characters is mad entertaining...

A good TV series >>>>> A good movie...I hope these TV writers keep this stroke of genius going...

Dramas and thrillers are doing amazing. Sitcoms are fukking average to be honest.

Edit: FX is really doing a great job by the way. Louie, Legit, and a bunch of others.

I would add Suits and Shameless to that list, probably take a couple off...

But I'm glad people are getting back into good TV shows, seemed like Reality TV was taking over a one point bout 5-10 years ago til people started final getting tired of it

TV shows are absolutely murdering movies right now, I find myself watching most movies like this :ld: now
I watched that bullshyt Wolf of Wall Street movie last night. I just wanted that damn thing to end, or get interesting. the first one happened after WAY too long.

Eh I still like movies tho to be able to hop in and out quickly with a story.
Movies don't have stories though...

9/10 times the main character is "sacrificing" him/herself for his/her "one true love"...

There are a few good movies that you have to dig deep to find...No doubt..However, the average movie has been shot a million times over...

For example, I just recently watched The Legend of Hercules, The Amazing Spiderman, and Captain America: The First Avenger and they are essentially the same movie...:mjlol:

I now watch movies while I wait for my favourite TV series to conclude, because I like to watch the entire season without having to wait a week...
