So in your opinion TDKR is better than TDK?

yeah but not by much it could easily be TDK better TDKR. They both damn near equal in my eyes. i just put TDKR just a lil more cuz of how menacing bane was with TALIA behind the whole thing.

I was being nice.... outside a few scenes it was straight trash. :manny:

While the ROTJ definitely had many faults (Ewoks....:snoop:), it arguably has the best two scenes in the trilogy (The Assault on the Death Star led by Lando Swagrissian, and the final confrontation between Luke and Vader).

Unlike say, Return of the King, Jedi at least still had charm.

respect. I think TDK has the edge because it has you thinking the whole time, wondering jokers and batmans mindset, and batman was mentally fukked, whereas in TDKR he was physically fukked (broken). I felt like I was just watching and waiting for batman to do something. I was more mentally vested in TDK.

Yeah. Sure it's weakest of the OG trilogy but that doesn't make it a mediocre film.

3 films building up to Luke's confrontation of the Emperor >>>>

:smh: If there's one thing I don't like about this site is how you can't seem to like two things at once....both Avengers and DKR got me :eat: very fukkin good. Both raised the bar again for comic book films.

in both TDK and TDKR.... I found myself rooting for the villian. The speaks to the quality of the super hero. And how you gonna vote for TDKR when Wayne was looking :flabbynsick: throughout the movie.
That's the thing, don't no one care about Batman. Why do the think they took it out the title.

Batman does not fight like batman, does not move like batman, does not act like batman. That's the difference in the movies, Marvel actual converted comic books into films without sacrificing the look and feel of the characters, there as yet to be a Batman movie that takes him straight off the comic page and onto the big screen, Tim Burton 1989 Batman was probably the closests one followed by Begins.

c/s It's funny how some people say it's realistic, how the fukk is it realistic?
You got a nicca in a bat suit fighting crime that is the richest guy in his city.

Dark Knight gets my vote but yeah ..both were great. Avengers was more fun cause of all the characters. It was more light hearted.

Godfather trilogy is up there, even tho the third was sub-par..first 2 make up for it imo, theyre that damn good, however Nolan just did something pretty rare for comic book trilogies though, we havent seen this consistency...dude hasnt dropped an average film in a decade, he's incredible, whatever he directs/produce from now on will get a guaranteed watch from me at a theater, everything he puts out turns to gold...movies usually dont move me or even challenge me, but entire Batman trilogy had me emotionally invested, Batman Begins is such a beautiful film from an emotional standpoint, you legit wanna cry when young Bruce's parent get killed....fast-forward 7 years, I didnt think there would be anyway Nolan could top that emotionally, but he did...I genuinely felt for Bruce, when he was getting handled by Bane...what REALLY got me was just seeing the strength of care and love Alfred had for Bruce, he came across as a strong father figure that really wanted the best for him, he even had his own vision for him, that shyt was touching...Avengers werent able to capture that emotional depth, and thats something that makes or break movies for me...its funny how I left this DKR and Inception feeling the same way

Preach :ohlawd:
