First weekend box office looks like the Avengers won.

What about Hulk conveniently learning to control his rage after he fell from the sky
I saw both opening Weekened. If it wasn't for crazy ass batshyt cacboy Batman would of won.

I liked both tremendously, but Dark Knight Rises had me thinking a bit more about it after leaving the movie. They do have very different feels and themes though, almost too much to be compared. Both will be day 1 blu ray cops.
Agree, cept BTTF wasn't a joke. That film gets more of a bad rep than it really deserves. The weaker of the three for sure though.
But yeah, this is easily the best 3rd movie of a trilogy by probably a very long shot. Damn near every other 3rd movie goes from just ok to downright terrible.

I don't know about best trilogy but I will say this: I think Dark Knight Rises is perhaps the best 3rd film of a trilogy that I've ever seen. Normally by the 3rd, you're just happy if it wraps things up decently and doesn't ruin the whole series. 3rd Godfather was trash. 3rd Matrix was painful. 3rd Back to the Future was a joke.
Nolan's Batman just might be the first trilogy I've seen where each film is arguably greater than the last

It's a toss up for me...
The Avengers was basically Ironman and the Hulk fukking sh1t up with great action sequences and Scarlett Jo's amazing ass in those tights...I really could give a fukkless about everyone else...
Despite Batards raving about TDKR, anyone who doesn't have Nolans dikk lodged deep in their ass can admit TDKR was definitely not one of Nolans better films...He tried to fit way too much content into a 2 hour film...The end result was a film with fukked up pacing and a few glaring plot holes Batards keep trying to downplay...
That said i really liked Tom Hardy as Bane, dude was such a fukkin beast in TDKR...Bane was easily the best thing that movie had going for it along with Alfred's stellar acting...Loki on the otherhand in the Avengers was a flaming emo f4ggot who got way too much screen time...Dude wasn't menacing, he was annoying...

Basically I liked it but something just seemed like something was missing still a good movie just not on Avengers level to me I thought TDK was probably better than Avengers but not this.
