watching the game again focusing on Jordan Mailata because it looked bad live

The Oline is trash and Mailata in particular got hoed constantly.
1st 8:49
On Carson's TD run in the first he got beat at the goal line and they were running to his side. Peppers beat Mailata and tackled Scott.
2nd 10:03
On that wild scamble backwards by Wentz that ended in a crossfield throw to Fulgham Mailata whiffed HARD. His man essentially got a straight line shot at the QB
2nd 5:42
the play were Carson threw while his knee was down. Mailata got beat to the outside. his man was the one that wrapped up Carson.
2nd 1:53
This nikka
3rd 9:03
Bruh they had 32 and Rodgers in to chip and release. Whole line still got violated by 4 rushers.
3rd 8:51
:pachaha:
Yeah thats on BG. he did not expect that goofy nikka to keep the ball at all.
4th 6:04
Rodgers was in to block. Scott was on block and release. Whole line got smoked anyways. defensive penalty in coverage tho.

mistakes were made all over the place but that watch through i was watching Jordan.
also
these condensed game replays are fire

Random Thought. Carson Wentz is like a poormans hybrid of Ben Roethlisberger and Brett Favre.

And in Madden, I just traded Alshon Jeffery and Zach Ertz to the Patriots for a 2021 second round pick and a 2022 first round pick :ehh:

Bill Belicek would never do that but Bill O'Brien may have done it if he was still employed in Houston

:damn:

Ugly-ass win on Thursday, but whatever, I’ll take it.

Wentz was… up-and-down. There were mind-bogglingly stupid plays, also plenty of great plays. Wentz has noticeably improved his game since Week 3, but we still need more consistency from him.

A notable comedown from Fulgham (still got 73 YDs on 5 catches, though), and a bad night for Mailata. No reason panic. Mailata is still young, raw, and relatively inexperienced, so he was bound to have a bad performance one of these days. These guys have shown the potential to be building blocks of the future, so it’s important to see how they rebound in Week 8.

The defensive line is very good. They pressured Jones for much of the night. Our secondary? Not so great. That’s going to be a huge problem going into Week 8 against Amari Cooper, Michael Gallup, and CeeDee Lamb. Singleton is at least a slight bright spot in a really bad LB unit.

Doug’s play-calling was just bad, namely in the RZ. Jake Elliot has also not been good this year.

Def has to continue to mix up looks, blitzes, coverages, personnel. D-line is our obvious strength. I want to see more out of Hargraves & Sweat specifically.

Hope Sanders is back next week. Also hope the rookie Wallace is back for that big game. Would really be nice if Lane plays the full game too.
