Alot of the time those same people being bougie about airlines have roommates.

:comeon:

I'm #TallGang. Outside of Business or First Class all these airlines feel like a greyhound bus and the boarding process feels like a cattle drive.

Might as well choose the cheapest one.

AA if you are a card holder.
You’re also gona pay considerably more if you’re beholden to an airline. They don’t always fly direct everywhere or have many flights

I JUST did this with a broad. (yea you’re not gonna be able to fly spirit with a lady friend even if you could)

We went to Turks. Other flights could have got it for $5/600. But bc she’s one of them ‘I always use my AA blah blah blah’, them tickets were $1000. Biggest waste of money ever in my life

I don’t see how y’all do it. The price point is just too significant to overlook.

One flight is 250 the other is 600. You’d pay an extra 350 just to avoid spirit?
Well, it depends on what you’re traveling for. I usually travel for vacation, which means I check a bag. That’s almost $100 round trip and my bags fly free with Delta. I also want comfort. Spirit flights are tight. I also get automatic upgrades to Comfort+ on Delta, which comes with free drinks and unlimited snacks. Delta also flies direct most places from Atlanta (area where I live). So yea, I’ll pay $450 for Delta instead of $250 for Spirit.

If I’m taking a quick two-day trip where I can fit all my stuff in a personal item (bookbag), then yea I might fly Spirit. But I’m checking for a deal with Delta first.

Above the fray.
Meanwhile, like I say every time somebody acts funny about Spirit or Alegiant or Frontier, ALL airlines have issues. I’m trying to get from point A to point B…not try to be boujie because nikkas online want to front and act like they want to spend more than they need to on a flight.

It's personal preference. I believe in getting the best value for air travel, and I think the same way about getting from point A to point B.

Best value doesn't always mean price, though. Traveling is hard enough, and if the service makes it more inconvenient than people are smart to weigh their options.

I will say this with a laugh, though. The "wealth gap" talk that flooded the board a few years ago seemed to have just been hot air. People have consistently spoken about willingness to pay for premium (and luxury) services and goods the past 3 years here. Despite talk in previous years about our/their communities being the most vulnerable economically and holding the least amount of wealth.
