@RGM
Only reason I fly Southwest is because I have pre covid points from work
the Job let us keep the miles for travelling for them
I still got about 200,000

I use them to go on vacations and whatnot.

if I actually pay , I use Jet Blue, American or Delta.

Back in 2021, ( southwest) 4 people from Baltimore get arrested @ Cancun international because they started arguing with the stewardess before takeoff
they would not mask up, had a full 4 course meal out and were eating , listening to music on speaker, standing up to talk, etc.

the crew acted like we had mechanical issues .. pulled the plane off to the side
about 30 minutes later Seguridad Nacionales run up on that bytch like an episode of Narcos Mexico and pulled them off

they up there begging like , "Whuut deeeed we Deeeeeeeeeeeeeeeewwww" :russ:

to make matters worse they had to get all their luggage and then it went past the crew's up time, the flight got cancelled
but they put us in an all inclusive for the night ( with drinks included) , then went out on the same flight with the same crew the next day .

never even thought about flying Spirit

You get to a point in your life where you value quality and convenience, regardless of the extra cost.

There will always be those who question your actions.

"Why are you flying on high ass Delta?"

"Why are you paying for cable?"

"Why are you renting a Benz? All you need is an economy car for the trip." :comeon:

Points are worth their weight in gold in terms of booking travel and avoiding the budget airlines. :mjpls:

I mean I literally found this in 30 seconds

I just did the same for Delta.

Spirit hasn't been in the news either for forced landings due to unruly passengers.

Unless you have some stats to share then you're just going off preconceived notions.

And Americans overrating mid like Delta and JetBlue will never not be funny. No American airline is top tier compared to their competitors abroad.

I can’t deny your experience. I just have never had a bad experience in at least 200 flights on the “smaller” airlines. Point A to point B and it’s not like any of their flights have ever ended in a crash (unlike other major airlines)

I can respect that. I don’t know your age breh but as I’ve gotten older I’ve respected convenience and professionalism more than saving a few dollars. This became more apparent after dealing with nonsense from several places. It is what ultimately lead me to getting CLEAR and Global Entry/pre-check when I wouldn’t of gotten it before.

I flew Spirit once (well twice as a round trip) Miami to Vegas and never again.

-Seat doesn't recline. WTF?
-Greyhound of the skies tag is 100% accurate
-Fell for the okey doke low fares! then they fukk you with the carry on and baggage fee

I'm good. Never flown Frontier and it's going to stay that way. FOH.

I flew spirit a lot of times and I never ran seen the stuff people talk about

but my spirit flights are always under 2 hours

If it's over 2 hours I will fly delta so I can watch a movie

I don’t see how y’all do it. The price point is just too significant to overlook.

One flight is 250 the other is 600. You’d pay an extra 350 just to avoid spirit?
250 + carry on and checked fees. I'm good.
