Are you slow :dwillhuh:

@Ed MOTHERfukkING G is telling you about how spirit charges per carry on item(i believe $25 per item, so 2 items = $50 each way, or $100 extra round trip) which other airlines give you 2 carry on items for free. So after the equal amount of carry ons, its not even much cheaper to fly spirit but you get an incredibly worse overall experience.

But youve replied twice now to this post describing the above scenarios, using “check in” services as examples.

Hes not once talked about check in service. Hes talking about carry ons.
I guarantee he replies talking about the convenience of walking in with clear and getting on a plane in 5 minutes because he assumes the rest of us don't have precheck, have 6 oversize bags and skis to carry, 2 kids, and how he has it all figured out unlike us suckers :heh:

I'm too good to be catching felonies off a flight. :mjpls:

Delta the ace. American and Southwest can come out the bullpen. :unimpressed:

True, true. But if I can save $100-200 for dealing with less than ideal people for all of a couple hours, it really ain’t that big of a deal. Ain’t like they be bothering me because I be minding my business, in my own zone
Best approach if you fly a lot is to pick one airline and ride with them. Building up points helps get perks and helps pay for future trips.

Just flew Spirit to Cartagena, Colombia, Avianca to Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, then Spirit back to the states. 1 carry on backpack for a 11 day trip. Just take your dirty clothes to the local laundry mat. In Cartagena it was 27.000 mil ($6 usd) mil to get all my clothes cleaned and in Santo Domingo it was 400 pesos ($7 usd). I don't dress to impress when I'm out the country. Polo, Jeans, and Lebrons when I'm going to the night club to get my salsa and bachata on.

I pay more money not to fly Spirit. Not because of being "boujie", but because they are unprofessional and appear to have less regard for safety from what I've experienced on my flights with them.
Seats are not comfortable, space is too tight, clientele is ghetto and they if something does go wrong as far as delay or cancellation they don’t have relationships with other airlines to keep you moving.

I hear the big seat they charge extra for isn’t bad :ehh:

I flew Spirit for the first in almost a decade back in December. It actually wasn't so bad. The ONLY reason I flew with them is that it was the only airline that would get me to my destination in the shortest amount of time (with layovers, etc). :manny:
They’re competitive in markets that don’t have direct flights everywhere

I flew spirit once ever. and that was only cuz my ex wife booked that bullshyt. these fukkers wanted me to pay to print a boarding pass at the airport. I already knew it was gonna be some ol' bullshyt.

plus out here, spirit doesn't even fly out of midway airport. I hate going to ohare. I can fly southwest for a comparable price, from a more convenient airport and NOT be nickel and dimed on every little thing.
Southwest at midway be having deals. That’s the move getting from LGA to the chi

Is it true that the seats don’t recline on Spirit? :scust:

From what I hear, flying in spirit is like staying at a motel vs a hotel.
