Rarely do Yankees win stuff like ROY, MVP, even Gold Gloves are infrequent

The Mets still have the easiest schedule remaining, with 20 of their games against the Nationals, Athletics, Pirates, Marlins and Cubs.

That said, losing Scherzer makes things tougher.
In the event that the Mets falter and have to settle for a Wild Card spot, they shouldn't have the luxury of blaming it on Scherzer's injury.
Since August 15, the Mets are 10-11 -- which isn't horrible. But they've been floundering.

I think knowing Washington would be bad this year caused him to let it effect it at the plate. It's like when you get in trouble at work for something stupid and you just half ass for a while. He then hears the trade rumors and thinks he's going to a good spot, and then Tatis gets himself suspended and he has to be around all that negative energy.

I wanna see how he performs next year. Mj kept getting beat by Isaiah, and used it to improve. Soto needs to use this as motivation to improve
