As far as I'm concerned, OB is just trying to smear Strong.
I swear UT is like the worst job of any major school. The facilities mismanagement is ridiculous. They've had the masterplan for the campus since 1996 and they still fukked it all up trying to do things too quickly. Herman shouldn't get shyt. They need to stick with the long-term plan. Build the new arena, finish the stadium, then he gets upgrades(yes, I'm for facility upgrades, but no more money wasted on things that will just be demolished. That should mean Herman aint getting shyt until at least 2020.
I'm late but I told y'all it would be Beck. Herman staff has been meh, and I can almost equate Beck to Watson, I mean we just watched TOSU get shut out, and he was the co-OC with no playcalling duty. Think about that for a second.
This was never going to happen, and I doubt he recruits that well here. And the first two would have ended up here had we had a good enough season to keep Charlie.
He said he's going to get it and get it fast. Within a couple of years. He spent the last 10 minutes of his PC on facilities. This is a big priority for him.

I guess it's funny, but there has been major facilities mismanagement at UT, which is doing the coaches no favor. The first step has been decided though and it looks like the Arena site has been chosen and designs will apparently start rolling in this spring. This should free up everything else and allow some long-term flexibility that fits within the masterplan.
This arena location provides the option to move the practice facility adjacent to the stadium and relocate the swim center. Thankfully the masterplan is winning. This will make the situation better in the future and make building new facilities easier. First step to getting rid of a long time deterrent for UT.
