2nd year in a row we were one play/game away from a championship game I think we likely win. Unfortunately Quinn isn't that guy at QB to get us over the hump, hopefully Arch is.

Yeah. Hopefully the team uses that fact as motivation during conditioning, spring & fall camps. Someone reported that Becton was fired up and ready to get started cause he wasn't happy with their performance in the OSU game.

I do mainly for Trey because I'm sure this is the only year we are going to get out of them. Crazy thing is this team isn't very far off we just don't have any big men. Not sure why RT thought Shedrick would be enough, but that should be enough to cost him his job. I doubt very seriously we make the tournament.

Apparently we are a bubble team somehow lol. I agree having shedrick and Onyema as your two of your 3 best bigs isn’t serious basketball. Also idk wtf we be doing offensively 90% of the time like we can’t get anybody clean looks it’s baffling. I do like Tre tho I think sometimes he takes bad shots but I put that on coaching because he rarely gets anything that gives him space

Not having the team prepared against that South Carolina team should be the nail in the coffin for Terry. The NBA guys are promising money to the program if their guy(Ivey) is hired.
We lost more position coaches than I would have liked. I think Sark did a good job with the hires though.

I hope we get the number one overall seed our offense is gonna have to improve tho if we wanna win a chip
That’s great especially considering how many nba guys we have. Also Terry has been a bigger disappointment than even i thought he would be. Our offense is legit iso playground ball. I see so many people on other forums and Reddit trashing the transfers which is ridiculous considering all these guys one we’re highly regarded transfers and two played great at their old schools. The biggest one for me is mark how you go from 16 a game to like 5z
I do like how he has the replacement pretty much ready as soon as the announcement hits. Kinda shows how much these coaches leaving respect sark to not just leave on a whim.

Figured I'd moved the discussion over here.
I don't have anyone in mind this go round. Last time I wanted Oats or Musselman. I figured Beard was a dream that wouldn't happen, so I didn't even consider him. When CDC pulled that off I was truly shocked.
After Beard was let go, Terry got hired and football got really good I focused more on the football. So haven't kept up with who might be available to hire. I do know CDC has not missed with his hires to this point, so I'll trust that he has a plan if they move on Terry.
Even though he's never coached in college, maybe take a shot with Royal Ivey if he was interested. With NIL and the right assistants it could work.

He'll do ok. The games during the regular season will prob be entertaining and come March, they'll play to their seed. Could have done worse.
He's not a national top 5-10 coach like some of the other SEC coaches (we had one but you know......). And if you couldn't get one of those I would have preferred taking a swing on Ivey or an up and comer.
You see the news about Chavez? In a way it reminds me of the Adrian Peterson recruitment. He couldn't see the vision of what was coming with Vince. Likewise Chavez doesn't see that she could develop her all around game at UT and help win a championship. Hopefully things play out for UT and Chavez like they did for UT and AD.

I agree not to exciting but he can get us further than we were. And I would’ve love Ben but he probably wouldn’t come. I don’t really trust his whole you need better athletes to play good defense stuff or whatever he said.
Yea she just wanna play her way and it’s gonna hurt her tbh I wasn’t that super high on her just felt we needed shooting but she can have fun losing at OU. But I think unlike with AD she’ll regret her choice in the long run
