Still waiting for a big splash since the Herman hire. His staff hires have been underwhelming and hasn't landed a big fish in recruiting as of yet. Best he will probably get is Chaisson.
Yeah, I'm starting to notice folks on Twitter shyt on Coach Strong to overcompensate for how underwhelming Herman has been since he's been hired. Real talk, Herman is still unproven in a lot of ways. zero recruiting buzz. this isn't CS's fault. there should be some natural hype from a new coaching hire. especially when the narrative is that we already have the players just need a coach to put it together.
Co-sign. With as much national & in-state media hype Tom Herman has gotten while he was at UH, he should have had immediate buzz & success in this recruiting class. But there is no buzz right now & I just see a lot of the folks who have been pro-Herman to Texas for a year & a half making excuses for Herman that they would've never done for Strong.
