He's 22-3 at Uh and his qb can't throw this year because of an injured shoulder

Apparently Charlie is gone regardless of what happens on Friday, but McRaven has entered the whole dysfunctional picture and is not on board with hiring Herman. Bigger fish is the thought...they are going to f__k this up like Texas seemingly always does with coaching hires.

If there are not gonna get Herman or a bigger name (i.e. Saban, Harbaugh, or Peterson), I'd rather just give Strong a 4th season.

I believe it. I always felt they were fearful of Saban 2.0. Plus, the optics of firing the first black coach in history, without giving him a fair shake. I think negotiations with Herman were shakey, and they are figuring, just give Strong a 4th year if they beat TCU. If he fails next year and they fire him, he got 4 years, no one will bytch. If he succeeds, UT is riding high.
