Texas Longhorns have suspended sophomore wide receiver DeAndre McNeal indefinitely for a violation of team rules. McNeal is suspended but remains a member of the team at this time, according to a source.
A school spokesperson confirmed McNeal's suspension in a text message to Horns247 on Wednesday afternoon.
McNeal was expected to compete for playing time in a crowded wide receiver room. McNeal was expected to be in a mix including senior Jake Oliver and true freshman Lil’Jordan Humphrey for a spot as the Longhorns’ big inside receiver.

at Jake Oliver being in the mix. sucks for McNeal, he probably should move positions anyway, not sure where he'd fit though. Maybe OLB. Either way I hope this isn't in relation to any type of assault.
