And the Bears passed on both in favor of Trubisky![]()
Can’t blame him too much when the team is averaging 33 a gameYou forgot to mention Mahomes is losing these prime time games...
This is all in your head.I'm absolutely flabbergasted that most people can't see past the surface. Watson is the better player and will prove it for the next 10-15 years. There is a different magic to him, like Mahomes I see all the sizzle, but you don't feel the magic. Chiefs were down with half a quarter left and you don't get this sense that if Mahones has the ball last it's over...
Texans are down, you typically always have the impression Watson can win the game. That drive for the winning score, especially the way they moved the ball today, you just know Deshaun gonna win it...
It wasn't either of their best games but I'm shocked more people can't feel the difference between the two...
By the time his career is over he's gonna be on that GOAT tier, there's something different about this one!
You forgot to mention Mahomes doesn't play defense...You forgot to mention Mahomes is losing these prime time games...
It's not about "pity parties", it's about observing what actually went on inside the lines. This thread is trial balloon propaganda - I mean, it didn't take long for you to reveal your true colours, post-match. You say that you're "flabbergasted" that folks can't see past the surface, when it's really you who can't see past the surface of your own agenda; to see something as simple as Mahomes almost single-handedly keeping his team in the game, whilst his defense was doing anything but. Whereas the pieces all around Watson were helping him out.@Gil Scott-Heroin he definitely didn't outplay Watson today. I'm not accepting no pity parties for Mahomes today...

That was the difference in this game: Watson had an actual defense, and Mahomes didn't even have something that resembled one. This nonsense about how you don't feel the magic when it comes to Mahomes, is only narrative-fodder for your belief that the game is simply QB v. QB. I can guaran-damn-tee that if you flipped their respective defenses, the Chiefs would've won, and you would be in here talking about bu-bu-but Watson's defense lost them the game.
Someone said they both were meh
There were 3 passes to Houston receivers that would have been TDs and about 75 yds added to Watson's total and not gone against his completions, had they not been dropped IN the receivers hands (Including Hopkins) would have been minus an int also
There’s always an excuse for Mahomes![]()
