I liked Mahomes alot coming outta college, but I wasn't as high on him as I should have been. shyt, I even posted 2 years ago in January
I have a 3rd round grade on him. He's got a ton of talent, including a Bret Favre arm. But he's very raw and needs a lot of work. But because of his massive potential, I could see him going in the 2nd.

To be fair: My issues with Mahomes at that time was not talent. He definitely had the raw talent, the issue was the system he came from at Texas Tech. From what I watched, that offense just seemed way too gimmicky. I watched as much of him as I could and I rarely saw many passes from him that I would classify as "NFL passes". So I had alot of questions about how his play would translate in the NFL. I was wrong. I'll take the L here
Now Watson, I was all in on in 2017 and he was my QB1. I wanted the Jets to draft him. I recently found out from a Jets fan who's plugged in that Watson and Mahomes were the only 2 QBs the Jets liked in that draft. But they felt 6 was too much of a reach for either. They tried to trade down using Trubisky as bait, but once Chicago took him the offers coming in were substantially worse, so they decided to stay put and take Jamal Adams.
