Also we should all be thanking god the Bears passed on both of these dudes instead of taking them. They wouldn’t be nearly as good playing for them

they more than likely would have been just good enough to keep John fox around to hold them back from reaching great heights

Biggest factor will be health. I hope both have 15+ year careers with no major injuries.

If anyone gets hurt of the two it'll be Deshaun. The Texans are just now learning how to call plays for Deshaun that he doesn't get destroyed by defensive linemen

Who do you like more, and who do you think will have the better career?
Mahomes is probably slightly more talented, but Deshaun is right there. Can’t really call who I like more, perhaps Deshaun but they’re both must watch TV

Really hard to gauge the disparity between them because the system Mahomes plays in combined with his natural talent allows him to put up video game numbers year after year. And I’m afraid of Deshaun is sustaining another major injury scrambling around

If I had to choose right now I’d say Mahomes will have the better career simply cuz of the situation he’s in. Houston doesn’t even have a GM. But I can’t call who’s gonna be the better QB, I foresee busts in Canton for both these nikkas

SMF and LAX to VA and NC
Werent the chiefs in the title game like the last team to score a TD against Belichick before this week? Since week 10 of last year only one other team has gone over 20 points against them.

Chiefs are averaging 33 points in prime time games including playoffs(small sample but it’s number 1 all time as of right now) so idk how that narrative has become so prevalent.

I get that people want to provide some balance to the Mahomes hype but don’t be ridiculous in your attempt to do it.

You forgot to mention Mahomes is losing these prime time games...

I liked Mahomes alot coming outta college, but I wasn't as high on him as I should have been. shyt, I even posted 2 years ago in January

I have a 3rd round grade on him. He's got a ton of talent, including a Bret Favre arm. But he's very raw and needs a lot of work. But because of his massive potential, I could see him going in the 2nd.
Ouch :snoop:

To be fair: My issues with Mahomes at that time was not talent. He definitely had the raw talent, the issue was the system he came from at Texas Tech. From what I watched, that offense just seemed way too gimmicky. I watched as much of him as I could and I rarely saw many passes from him that I would classify as "NFL passes". So I had alot of questions about how his play would translate in the NFL. I was wrong. I'll take the L here :yeshrug:

Now Watson, I was all in on in 2017 and he was my QB1. I wanted the Jets to draft him. I recently found out from a Jets fan who's plugged in that Watson and Mahomes were the only 2 QBs the Jets liked in that draft. But they felt 6 was too much of a reach for either. They tried to trade down using Trubisky as bait, but once Chicago took him the offers coming in were substantially worse, so they decided to stay put and take Jamal Adams. And when I read that, I legit had the :beli: face

And the Bears passed on both in favor of Trubisky :francis:
Right. Although it's true that Mahomes was seen as a project, and Big 12 QBs were given automatic red flags upon entering the draft, Trubisky showed absolutely nothing special in his ONE YEAR at UNC.

Chicago probably wins last year's super bowl with Deshaun at the helm.

What does Watson do better than Mahomes?

I think Watson is a bigger threat with his legs than Mahomes but thats about it.

Unfortunately its kinda unfair because Watson has such awful protection and such a mediocre offensive scheme installed, that we really don't know just how good he could be. Could Mahomes step onto the field for the Texans and still be as dominant? I dunno....

Watson is playing with one hand tied behind his back because the organization is so terrible.

So. Cal
It's coming bro...
Lets hope. Im tried of seeing over hype mediocre cacs all up in the camera (mayfield).

My boy Rodgers seems like hes ready to game manage his ass to a championship so long as his defense stays on point so his days as a :wow: passer are all but over (i hope not but it looks it).

Im ready for some Mahomes and Watson :blessed:
