shyt I use to work there, probably seen you there. When they got Killer Instinct it was a wrap.

Whoa! If you worked there you had to have seen us. We were in there practically everyday from about 2:30-4PM then we would go to the Pool Hall or Bulletproof in the Junction for more..

Is it still open? Haven't passed by there in over a decade.

Use to work at Bulletproof on the Junction also. Fairyland is dead, bulletproof was still open last time I checked.

whats up with that? was it a bytch move or something

You couldn't get out of a throw until Super Turbo so it was like you wasted a quarter.

I remember I didn't see Turbo until I went to Cedar Point one summer. I walked into that arcade for the fukk of it, and saw it, and was like :krs:

Ran to my moms for that 2 dolla fix, and she hit me like "You ungrateful little nikka, I drove you down here to Ohio, paid to get in this bytch, and you want money to play VIDEO GAMES???" :childplease:

Me: Daddy would :smugfavre:

Moms: :hmm:

Got in 4 matches, then resumed Cedar Point activities :win:

I always loved playing co-op games. You would start out in Time Crisis by yourself, some random dude would pick up the other gun and start playing with you. You didn't know each other before, and my never see each other again. But @ that moment in time, you had each other's back like you were blood brothers.

breh time crisis was ultimate camaraderie

nikka you was putting down a dollars worth of gaming....a fukkn dollar....that shyt was like a downpayment on a house to us

I remember times, playing that shyt, dieing, reaching in my pocket and only having 50 cent like "Noooooooooooooooo"

Then ya random patna is like :bustback: *quickly reaches in pocket and hands you money* :bustback:

:lawd:

and it was a must have to use the gun that cocked back...shyt made you feel like a gawd!

The lines, the shyt talking definitely lead to some fights at certain locations. I actually miss that experience when it was two of you going straight up in front of a whole bunch of people waiting to get next and watching.

The original mortal kombat and SF 2 didn't help matters when everyone was talking big shyt, :ahh: good times.

Kids was on their :pacspit: stuff, "One, if I lose, I'm gonna beat that ass. Two, if I lose, I'm gonna beat that ass. :pachaha:"

YO,lol!! That's exactly how it was back in the day n all the drug dealers would hang out there to.

I'm still tempted to play that jurassic park shooting game. There's one at the theatre near me.

I never had any trouble at the arcades for 3 reasons:

1. I never won. I've always sucked at video games, as a kid to now.

2. Never had more than .50 to 1.00 to play in the arcade...

3. Too lil to have dudes get mad at me anyway...

I'll never forget how impressed I was with this one black dude who was CRUSHING EVERYBODY and the computer in Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3. I was like :wow:

Competitive games: Street Fighter and Mortal Kombat led to most fights in the arcade eassssy. NBA Jam was a distant 3rd. Had cats gettin slapped and jumped and giving dudes their quarters back.

Team Games: Any of the Ninja Turtle games, Xmen Arcade, Simpsons, Time Crisis and House of the Dead. These games had dudes playing basketball later and smokin treez.

A nikka used to feel so disrespected when i was engaged into a fight session wit a cat and some otha random mufukka puts his quarter on da bottom of da screen holder to suggest he got next. :pacspit:

Like i aint have no shot at winnin. :stopitslime:......and dey was always right. :sadcam:

And it was always dat one asian mufukka who was merkin nikkas left n right in dem fightin games. I remember havin to wait a long ass time to play Killer Instinct because i just wanted to play da fukkin game without havin to get embarrassed. :noah:

So when Wang finally took a break n left i ran ova to dat sumbytch n started playin :mjpls:. But soon as i saw him and his crew walkin back ova and put his coin in I was like...

Can't forget the G.O.A.T. Team Game......Gauntlet

'Elf needs trees, badly'......:ahh:

I zoned-out on Spy Hunter. One quarter lasted me an hour and it got to the point I had a little cheering section when I sat in that game. They knew what time it was......:smugdraper:

Whoever created Ghosts n' Goblins has earned my eternal enmity. I want that mufukka DEAD!! shyt was just as bad on the NES. One hit and my dude was naked, 2 hits and he's dead.......:stopitslime:

I seen plenty of fights in the arcade, but it usually had nothing to do with the games. it was usually just because it was a place where knuckleheads hung out. I definitely seen cats fight over who's quarter was next

 I also remember when me n 2 of mah homies was playin a game at da movie theatres at da mall..When it came time to puttin one's initials in dat mufukka once you beat it and mah boy was clownin n thought it would be funny to put certain letters in. And wit dis particular game it says da letters LOUD as shyt then repeats em all together when you're thru. Mind you, we at a fukkin mall pretty much dominated by black n hispanic folks. So of course you got ya lil thugs n shyt sprinkled about. Tell me why dis nikka typed in "G....D....K.." :snoop: :laff:

Couple olda cats who look like dey repped dat bangin (16-20 range (we was around 13-14)) was lookin at us like :birdman: :usure:

I got some great memories from dem arcade days. :pachaha:
