I've said before that the abrahamic religions seem to have mixed things from Zoroastrianism as well as Egypt.

The monotheistic concept of God in judaism however has much more in common with Zoroastrian beliefs than it does with the the monotheism proposed by akhenaten.
But what needs to asked is who gave the Zoroastrians the concept of one god? I think people tend to think because something has a lot of one thing, or others, that the smallest thing is not that powerful but, that isn't how things go. One small thing could be more powerful then a lot of the larger things. You see this in nature as far as the chemicals in plants, and even the human body.

I think somewhere this concept of one god was so big, that it changed the world. As it spread out people just adapted to it and incorporated it into their belief systems. This could be why we see so many different religions but, most of them have the same concept of one god. The thing is who created this concept, and is it "good". Was it the "the evil one"? We know it is an egotistical being, and wants all praise given to him. We also see the fruits of these religions are not really that good. If the belief system was so powerful, why is the world so messed up? If God is so powerful, there would be no need to give praise, you see its works all around you, and manifested in different ways. Living a peaceful, and harmonious life, is how you give praise to this all powerful being because you don't cause destruction and chaos to the world it gave to you to experience. Just thoughts so don't kill me mudeesuckas:whoa:

Where did the word jew come from

when yehudi and its variants were translated as Judah, the word Jew was the shortened form of it, notice on the map Judah is also written as whydah or oiudah.

On the debate of the moors not being black.

How is it that Moreno and moor have such a similarity in the name, along with other languages that mean someone of dark skin starting with the letters mor.. There is a reason why a large number of people in Italy, Spain and Portugal don't have the typical blue eyes and blonde hair u see in west Europe.

I know about that. That is most likely how religion developed. But even that makes me wonder if this "evil being" created that? It's one thing to study the emotions, and give them attributes, but to worship them is what I'm always trying to figure out how did this happen. That is really the main reason why I study history. I like to learn another thought besides whats being told because the victor will always change things to make himself look better but, I really study it to find out where did man lose and become the fools we are today. We make things only to have those things destroy us or make us weaker. We are constantly making things to help offset the problems we make. It seems like we are in an illusion, and I want to know where did this illusion come from, so it doesn't get me because I do believe in spirits. I seen some weird shyt in my time, and nobody can tell me its in my head or some goofy shyt. I know what the hell I seen.

I like the cacs history trolls. They make nikkas drop knowledge with citations. So a nikka like me can research easier. I wonder how it feels that my ancestors taught you heathen cacs how to bathe.

Taking credit? We're talking about history. Please just stop,

How many books have you read on this topic and if you read 1 what was the name.

Haha seems like you wasted your time reading some dumb pseudo history .I feel sorry for you, there were some blacks in Europe, but to sit here and say blacks went and built an empire in Europe is ridiculous. You can say all of this because it sounds good, but this is the exact reason I don't fukk with this fake conscious history shyt its full of lies.

Did @Sensei ever answer the question? Did he read any books on this topic? Or was he alive in the 7th century...frozen and then thawed in 2014 so he could give his eye witness accounts? :aicmon:

You call books psuedo history but if you are so certain that the Moors were non-black you must have gotten that information from a book also...so name the book that you got your information from.

The moors were muslims and muslims in that time were either arabs or africans who converted to Islam, all @Sensei is saying is that it's stupid to categorize the moors as exclusively black. You don't even need a book to understand something that simple, it's common sense.

YET the Moors were exclusively categorized as black prior to the 14/15th century. Me and @Mowgli already proved this with the sources we cited. Saying that the "Moors" meant Muslim is incorrect, when the term "Moor" predates Muslims to mean "black" skinned African people. The term "moor" became a synonym for "nigra" (black) by the time of Silius Italicus, around the 1st Century CE.

Agreed it is common sense.

black didn't mean the same thing in terms of race that it means today, and even today somebody who might be considered black in one part of the world may not be considered black in another...early arab historians described east indians as "black" as well, so what? using these silly word games to provide historical analysis is always a slippery slope.

I never said moors meant muslim, I said that the moors WERE muslim and the fact is that in that time period, muslims were mainly arabs or black africans who converted to islam and joined their ranks, to label them as black african isn't accurate at all, sorry.
