Spo and company told you from the start they just want him to focus on defense and rebounding that’s it
The coaching staff in general doesn’t care about big men or post play period and you would think Spo was here when we had Shaq and Zo not in there prime but here none the less that he would understand big man and post play and how important it is but nope.
With Bam on the floor it’s 4 on 5 on the offensive end he is the complete opposite of Whiteside
I would rather him be aggressive like Whiteside then be passive as he is

and don’t have Winslow on the floor with him it’s god damm 3 on 5Wasn’t Bam working out with Rasheed Wallace during the summer whatever work he did with him in the offseason he left it there
So either it’s coaching just rebound and play d or he is just passive and not confident in his offensive game
But remember stat nerd will tell you that the team is better when Bam is on the floor
All I see from Bam is a high energy Birdman type of big
How he showed out in summer league we thought we got a steal a future OKC Serge Ibaka

When Whiteside isn’t in the game team make a b-line to the basket they have no respect for him they aren’t worrying about him blocking there shot like Whiteside
He struggles sometimes with bigger guys as well with rebounding and finishing at the rim
Guys like Bam & Winslow are the reason the team is where it at we drafted both of these guys in the lottery tell end of the lottery but still in the lottery and they have shown there nothing more then role player at this point.
Maybe they may develop into more then that for heat fans sake we have to hope for it
I have been both these guys biggest supporters but I been disappointed in both I just don’t see it with either one.
Maybe with Wade UD and a few other guys gone next season maybe they may take a step or be forced into taking a step up
