Basically but he has been contributing after a shaky start. Our problem is that we are relying too much on Richardson for offense. I would like for them to take the opportunity and run more stuff through Whiteside, just to see him as a primary option.

They’ve tried. Whiteside is not a great post player, he’s not a consistent screener to get forced mismatches, and he’s not a consistent back to the basket player.

He’s not a primary option for a prolonged period of time. He’s not a consistent enough scorer or a good enough decision maker yet.
