He's on point there...most artists, no matter where they come from, seem to agree that Kendrick is the best hip hop ARTIST right now, and that kanye has the catalog to be an all time great. Kanye's catalog is far better than Em's, and I'm saying this as an Eminem fan.
I think he's trippin about Pac though, but there's nothing controversial about this interview, nothing at all.

thats true, based on everything, kendrick is indeed the best rap artist, and like he said, ITS NOT CLOSE TO BEING CLOSE. Dude is 5 leagues ahead of the other artists.

This ain't about the false idea that Eminem is the greatest most feared battle rapper of all time...but it's an honest take from a legend from that arena about his influence and impact on an entire niche of Hip Hop that is THRIVING without the music industry or ACTUAL MUSIC itself. And you can call it a niche or sub-niche but the truth of the matter is RAPPING (battle or otherwise) can be done on a master level without the presence of corporate structure and has been long before Rappers Delight hit the air waves.
Are you telling me...these nikkas, getting up to 20-30k a show (probably more than your flavor of the month ass rapper that some of you nikkas in here dikk ride) to basically put on Theatrical shows aren't "Hip Hop" enough to be counted when we start handing out accolades and acknowledgements for "GREAT RAPPER" shyt...
Eminem is solid in both of those worlds and is a critical factor in a lot of people people actually being able to RAP for a living without sucking industry dikk.
He ain't no best of anything but he's solid as fukk AS AN MC...AND AS A POP STAR.
But if the subject is about RAPPING....you can start and end the conversation on Eminem before you even get to the pop side and record sales and still make a case for him being great at rapping.
