Goku has 1 kill(Kid Buu) in the whole of DBZ & only two knockouts (Recoome & Burter).. Kid Buu get's an asterix seeing as Goku had to use spirit power from the fukking galaxy to beat him. Vegeta was the spook that sat by the door, he wasn't working for Frieza.. he was planning how to beat him. Instead of becoming a self hating c00n like Goku, he held on to his Saiyan Pride. Only time Goku was on that Pro Saiyan shyt is when he wanted to fuse with Vegeta... Vegeta should of been like, "oh now you want to be a proud Saiyan, get your c00n azz outta here!!" . Vegeta knows warfare and how to survive, a battle hardened Veteran. Goku too stupid..if not for those insane perks from knowing King Kai... he'd be finished.

Goku on his last leg = Uses Spiritbomb - "oh btw can someone keep the enemy occupied while i stand here"

Actually, Gohan is cited by the creator of the show as being the strongest non-fused character in the anime. Dude only got his ass handed to him by Buu because he screwed with his mind. Completely psyched him out after absorbing Trunks, his brother and father-figure in Piccolo. But, yeah. The bold is all that really matters. Vegeta conceded to Goku a long time ago. His fans are arguing for the sake of it at this point.

nikka he wasnt fighting in honor it was to save innocent people. Besides if he went SSJ3 he would have murk Vegeta and then be useless to help out against Buu cuz his time was limited
