Vegeta was the biggest lame in DBZ

People gotta understand that DBZ was written (and very badly btw) so that Goku is always the top dog no matter what.Even though Vegeta has more depth, more character, way more personality and determination that anyone else in the series.

Now I'm gunna try and brake it down so yall can understand.

DBZ has terrible written characters.

1. Goku is really stronger than most sayians for no real apparent reason. HE JUST IS...

2. Vegeta has many apparent reasons to be stronger than Goku. BUT HE JUST ISNT...

3. SSJ3... It was a stupid plot device power up that made no sense in the story at all. Akira just wanted some way to multiple Goku's power without the need to train for it so he could get higher in the ladder. The fact that Gotenks can do it almost instantly is proof of how stupid and meaningless that transformation is.

4. The less Sayian blood you have to a point means the more inherited strength you have....
- Now this would of made sense from a story progression standpoint but once again Akira makes goku and vegeta the strongest all the way until the end no matter how many kids or grandkids they have.

Now those are just a few points.

But what I'm trying to say is and this make break some hearts.

No matter how you try to logically explain these characters, the shyt just won't make sense from a logical standpoint.

Vegeta was written to take Ls. Period. Now you can try to make is seem like there was much more to vegeta than that.... but there wasn't.

Goku was written to get the W. Period. Whether the story made sense or not(more often not) that's how it was suppose to be in the end.

I think what we all see is the potential the characters had but the story never quite fulfilled that potential, so we feel the need to justify the characters actions because we long for a better representation of them.

Now I don't blame yall for trying to stick up for this character but lets be honest.

There no sense in trying to make sense of Akira's shytty writing.

After just reading that article with Akira and the script writer and the voice actress for Goku, he admits he did in the beginning write the story kinda free handed. But over the course of the manga he did make sure to explain things

1) SSJ3: it's implied that since Goku was dead and he wasnt limited to a body to conserve energy he trained and gain this form while in heaven. Which is also why the form is sparingly used in DBZ and GT. Its explained and shown in the anime that the transformation is useless in a prolong fight. Goku says his fight with Buu is the first time he used it actually combat. As for Gotenks, it's also implied that the fusion makes the fused extremely powerful. The kids were already SSJ so fukk it why not. And more logical standpoint it gave the audience to see more of SSJ 3 since it wasnt known if Goku would even show up back into the story since he was dead.

2) as for Goku being stronger than Vegeta. While Goku kinda trained a bit better and harder than Vegeta had his his youth. Goku got trained by Kame. Then he drank the mystic water from Karin's tower which gave him more power during Dragonball. Then he train with Kaio-sama and learned Kaio-ken. Then he trained 500 times gravity on his way to Namek. Then he went a train to master Super Sayian to point where he could sustain the form as a normal thing. So you get my point. Goku trained and trained and trained and attained more power. That's his whole character.

No matter what the anti-hero is always punished. ANd he/she is always meant to be an example to the other characters of what not to be. If you notice Vegeta still has the same characteristics of all the bad guys they fought even though he's on the good team. He was always punished for his arrogance. No matter how hard he trains he will never be as powerful as thee "good guy" Goku because good always>>>>>>>evil/bad.

But it aint even that deep though. Akira hated Vegeta and wanted to kill him off during Saiyan Saga but he was too popular. This Jap went out of his way to shyt on Vegeta.

Whether you hate vegeta and rep goku set or vice versa, you have to admit, when they actually teamed up they were a force to be reckoned.. Goku always took the glory for joint wins though..
