Let's be honest, they are never going to give us reparations because it would then force white people to follow the divisive one drop rule. Slavery when you think about was not that long ago and most African Americans(and I am including mixed and biracial people of color) can easily trace there ancestry back to at least one ancestor that was a slave. So due to the one drop rule the government would have to write a lot checks that the bank can't cash LOL.
