I do not understand how advising people who are disproportionately effected by COVID-19 to avoid behavior which may place them at even greater risk is c00ning.

Because since the virus began to spread the message for the GENERAL PUBLIC was:

wash your hands
Avoid touching your face
Stay 6 feet away from ppl when going out
Stay home
Wipe down shyt with sanitizer
Wear a mask

The message of avoiding alcohol and drug abuse wasn’t a message to a *general public*.

If the whole time avoiding this virus was to avoid alcohol and weed this is news to me.

The point is he specified everyone but white people.
:gucci: But iirc, they specifically asked him about black people, tho.

Also, i didn't see nobody mention it, but he did say that they were doing studies and figuring out how to address this from the federal level. I recall the words "job training", better healthcare, etc.

Bp would be better off highlighting that part vs getting hype off a 40 sec clip. Not to say Trump gon do shyt, but his guy said it publicly, so we should hold him to it publicly. Instead of outrage that doesn't serve us. Jmo. :yeshrug:

To your point the message before that comment was fair and straight to the point.

I just don’t understand how drugs and alcohol use/abuse needed to be mention when addressing the black community being impacted by covid-19.

Unless that study he mentioned beforehand prove that is why minorities are impacted disproportionately by contacting covid.

True, but nikkas and latinos also ain't the ones running 5 miles a day, eating avocado toast and regularly getting doctor exams. You can be mad at how he delivered the message, but let's not pretend to be offended by facts.
The majority of white folks don't do this either. Ya'll watching too much tv and need to get out more. Yes our diets need to improve overall in the our communities but alot of these white folks diets are pure shyt if not worse than the people they're trying to vilify

I never said the majority does. It's just a fact that more white people do all these things than black. Do you know a single black person that does these things?

He didn't say this with malicious intent, he's trying to be helpful...a bunch of grown ass men pretending to be "hurt" by this...give me a fukking break :camby:

What's funny is that if him and trump got up there and said "Hey, God got you, our thoughts and prayers are with your community at this time" muthafukkas would be outraged. :stopitslime:

It's more than pandering, it's wildly belittling.

But what could be expected of the racist Trump administration. They don't see us as people.

They would never tell those hillbilly mofos that voted for him that they need to stop fukking their sisters and shooting up dope and smoking meth...but those same hillbillies and Trump and cacs and non-blacks in general love finger wagging at us to make them feel better about their unimpressive lives. Telling us to stop being on welfare while abusing governtment assistance and unemployment. Tell us to get jobs while they the same people who deny us jobs at their businesses. Telling us to behave and treat women with respect while they commit every white collar crime in the book, beat their wives, sexually harass/sexually assault/rape women and get away with it.

the hypocrisy is glaring.
Yep the truth, will fukk with you. The reality is, deep down white people know this, but they hate being confronted with the double standard, because makes them feel insecure about confronting their biases and reality. Very white people can willingly see through the bs.
